I was wondering what it would be like to be a god. I wonder what it would be like to be one. To make a religion for yourself and have people pray to you and to have total control whether their soul belongs in your paradise or in an eternal purgatory of pain and suffering. To either grant people good health or just kill them with a tornado or a huge tsunami just with the turn of a hand or to move a mountain like God from the old testament,or strike an enemy of your followers with a huge thunder bolt like Thor from the Pros Edda or Zeus from the Illiad would. To me, a god is an immortal supreme being with dominance of mortals. They can create life and than they can destroy it. Gods have supposedly been around since the beginning of time, or so its believed by those that worshipped them. They may have created man in their image. But man is only an image, nothing more. Men and women aren't immortal spectral beings and it shows in mythology. In mythology, man and woman have been nothing but for the amusements and for the convenience of the Gods in almost every religion. If they displeased a God; they were either cursed or put to death. So what is everyone's thoughts and veiws on this?
