okay i didn't notice the tyre until Aether pointed it out. What purpose does it serve to have a tyre around your chest plate. Doesn't that just seem like it would inhibit movement? Although in one of the pictures the tyre seems to have changed to a blue spiked version so I suppose that means its what differentiates between whatever forms he has and acts as some form of shield/weapon? The second pictures seem to be showing his Henshin poses which are okay for the most part but why do his legs have to be so far apart for it? Am I just over-reacting here or do we have to clear a view of the guys crotch in that second picture? I guess I can get used to the fact that this Kamen Rider is car themed and hence probably won't have a motorcycle. I can live with that part. The helmet is still the coolest part for me. I see the mouthpiece bit there in the first picture. It actually reminds me a lot of the Guyver air releasers as like a muzzle sort of vibe to it. Anyone else notice that or is it just me? Edit: I just now noticed upon second glance that there is a spoiler on his helmet. How wacky is that!

WOOH! Been A long ass time since I visited this place but I was looking for some info on the new Kamen rider show since I couldn't find anything at first, after several digs on google I finally got a link that brought me here. So anyway I thought I'd give my two cents on the subject, I definitely like the colour scheme and design of the armour there and how it lends itself to looking like a guy wearing some heavy armour rather than some kind of spandex suit which is a problem i have with lots of kamen rider series *cough* decade *cough* . But yeah after keeping up with Gaim all throughout I am enthusiastic about the new season and will definitely be looking to get into it. Man, its good to post on here again. Its been too damn long!

Episodes 3 and 4 watched and done with. i guess its starting to look up. the characters are set in (despite the lack of an origin episode) the story is more or less begun to take form. there is still a slight problem that i have with the acting in that it seems too.....................superficial. theres not really any kind of depth or emotion to the dialogue. theres no emotion to what the actors are saying i mean even if your acting in a kids show you are expected to ACT! a little effort in saying your lines is all im asking. also the stag beetle zord was FRIGGIN AWESOME!! that is all ......................for now

saw the second episode..... it was okay kind of a throw back to the type of episodes of mighty morphin' it was funny enough and there was some amount of good characters shining through (though there was some pointlessness to it) overall..... i think this is going okay on the right track though im looking forward to being able to see the actual first 2 episodes

okay when we're talking about comparing Takeru and Jayden... the thing about Takeru was that he was an asshole... but he was still a mostly caring guy.... i mean he'd pretend to disregard his team-mates in battle...... but then youd find out he did that cause he was trying to protect the people who were under attack.... whereas when you talk about Jayden the problem is that he is basically defined as some kind of self-righteous hero who wants to protect the entire planet on his own.... you might argue that this is the exact same way Jason was protrayed but the problem lies wherein jason was a stoic leader who's personality revolved around his fighting-prowess and leadership skills..... maybe thats what they are trying to do with Jayden as well (we'll have to watch more to find out for sure) but for what i saw i dont think its working out the way they immediately want it to.... but right amounts of character development can fix that so .... lets wait and see.

okay now that the first episode has come out and ive let my feelings about it sink in a little bit, there are a few things to adress. first of all........... WTF? im not saying that cause i thought the episode was bad (ill give my thoughts on that in a minute) but seriously........... what was that.... the first episode is not the first episode.... its a character development episode for Mike (i hope this isnt a spoiler). theres no explanation as to the backstory....... and it just starts sort of.......... was the idea behind it to just put us in the middle of the action and then give the backstory in later episodes? secondly, the characters themselves.... not too bad but you can tell that a lot of them are amateurs... of course Paul Schrier was great to see again in the first episode but who's the kid with him..... i think somebody said its his nephew? but then on wikipedia it read that his name is Spike and he is Skull's son... so how can he be related to Bulk. The rangers except for Mike and Jayden didnt get many lines in this episode so... cant really comment on them.... theres a slight problem i have with Jayden however... he seems to be really self-righteous and goody goody..... this isnt a bad thing but when it comes down to it his character seems kind of shallow.... and need i say it.. perfect? the fight scenes were okay although there was a bit of sloppy editing involved. i like the villans though ill have to wait a few more episodes to determine that completely. well those are my thoughts on it. anyone else care to share?

new trailer looks awesome! the megazord looks convincing enough plus i actually laughed at the bit where Mike, i think his name is, gets hit in the chest with the bow staff and the girls start laughing the only issue i have is....................... wtf is up with the horses?

to be honest, i had forgotten about the discs.. but now through reading some of these posts I am starting to remember. I believe the discs held the power of the origami's in some fashion. as bobby said, they used some of the colour discs to control the other origami's. they could not use them without the discs? so the discs were like the key. so when they put the disc on their weapon, it is like they were channelling their power through the weapon? i'm not sure about this, I can't remember but do you think it is plausible? okk... i didnt intend to start an argument here... sorry guys umm... after seeing the posts that were made here..... i decided to go check out shinkenger again to see for myself and as bobby said... they do control the zords soo point to bobby for that one other than that i re-watched an episode where i remembered ryounouske (sp?) was using a fishing rod to try and catch the zord and the rod had a disk attached to it... he spun the disk... channeling his "mojikara" into it and then cast the line to try and catch the zord..... so theres another way of explaining it... that the disks gave them the power to channel their mojikara
