H222G981 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 If you saw someone dropped 20 -100 dollars on the gound and didn't notice, would you claim it for your own or try to return it to them? Honestly I've been in this position. I worked at Wal-Mart and came across a 100 dollar bill. No one was around period. No one was around and according to store policy that if any money is lost by a customer. It than belongs to Wal-Mart by default. I said to myself. Does Wal-Mart needs this more than me? I could ask anyone in the store and they'd be like...oh sure, thats mine. Finders keepers and smegg Wal-Mart. I kept it and was 100 bucks richer. Now. If it was someone's wallet, than sure. I'd return it. Because there would be an ID with it and that in my opinion means that the money would have someone's name on it. But if there is no wallet and its on the floor and no ID. Than obviously. It doesn't have anyone's name on it. Or so that's how I justify it. But if they're careless enough to drop it, not notice and leave the area. I see it like this. I am pretty damn sure the next person who comes across it would deposit it in their pocket as well. Than I guess I'm careless enough to put it in my pocket and be on my merry way. Quote
