January 2, 201412 yr wanted to get this done ever since valkyrias backstory presented a rather moody image of lisker. finally finished it!! I'm pretty happy with it myself, has a nice solid feel and is very moody and atmospheric.
January 2, 201412 yr nicely done like the eyes they pop out at you, its been a while since you put anything up looks like you have been sharpening up on your photoshop skills.
January 3, 201412 yr Author thank you, you guys. yes, I do think it is a good technique. but It's not a case of improving photoshop skills. photoshop is merely a tool, I've been able to use it effectively since 1998. It's more a case of studying the world, how light behaves etc. actually I think maybe my eye has gotten better due to studying how makeup artists work. actually, this could have been a very plain looking piece, but the improvement is due to how I decided I wanted to use colour to effect lighting. there is no true yellow on him, it's more red, peach and cream, with sandy grey shadows.
