I still for the first gen PSP. It has issues as it turns off on it's own during loading. Which is extemely believe me. I was planning on getting a new one. But I guess I can wait now.

I didn't read all the links, but can it still play the older PSP games too?

The games will be on proprietary flash-media cards but I assume for older PSP games you can download them off of PSN onto a media card for PSP2.
