A short story that has to due with venus.

[Ultimate W'kar]

I am Zan Darns and I am on a special heat resistant ship traveling to Venus from Earth. I had just entered the bridge, the metallic color room had control panels on the sides and in the front of the room. There was several people operating the control panel. The captain and my friend Jeff Smith was at the front where the windows are, at first they didn’t notice me, but then the captain seen me and waved me over to talk to him.

The captain said, “ So Zan I really like the ship you have for me to drive, but why are we going to Venus? I didn’t think you were a scientist.” I said, “Well its because I got word from a friend that a organic life form had been detected on Venus by the U.S. Government.” As the captain spoke his left eye brow raised, “Its 450 on Venus and there’s signs of organic life! Who is this friend?” I replied, “ He’s a hacker, he had hacked into NASA when it was discovered.” Jeff spoke, “So why are we listening to a hacker anyways. For all we know he or she could be lying.” I said, “Well its because its someone I know well.”

The captain said, “Well then, you should returned to your cabin, I’ll tell you when we reach 67,200,000 miles from the sun.”

I walked out of the room and returned to my cabin. I Was awaken several hours later by a call from the bridge. I got up from my bed and I walked over to the black phone on the desk to the right of my bed. I pushed the com button and spoke into it, “What is it?” I Calm voice answered,” Venus is in sight, the captain would like you to come to the bridge.” I got dress and walk out of my room towards the bridge. The door had been open and I was greeted by a smiling Jeff. Jeff said, “See we are now approaching the planet. Man, this reminds me I’ve seen a movie with a planet like this, covered by lava and all I mean.” The captain said, “I doubt that the planet in the movie doesn’t have a tilt of 30 and 24 seconds.” I said, “Captain you said you needed me?” The captain turned to me and replied, “Yes, where do we land, there’s a lot of lava out there?” I said, “The continent Aphrodite, the ship has its location, just use that.”

The captain quickly found Aphrodite and landed us with the exclamation of “Touch Down.” Upon landing Jeff asked me a question. Jeff asked, “Hay how do we get outside and not become barbeque?” I replied, “We have special suits with us that is resistant to heat and acid, not to mention holds oxygen.” After getting the suits on we proceeded outside with me, Jeff, and five other people. One of the men said, “I can’t believe we are walking in 450 weather, its amazing.” I said to him, “You do know your stating the obvious, right.” Jeff said in a joking manner, “This is definitely the place to go during the winter!” The ground was a recently cooled lava like color and vas very rocky. The area around the volcanic beach had lava everywhere, but the cooling system in the suits was working well.

While we were walking one man said as he was observing the terrain, “I don’t see anything!” I asked, “What about the sensors?” The man looked down at it at first and then said, “No.” We continued walking, but a few seconds later we heard a beeping and we all turned to the man with the sensor. He said, “Hay, Mr. Zan we’ve found it! I’ve got the signal!” I asked, “How far?” He replied, “About 5000 meter’s south east!” The captain said through the com, “Zan we’ve got a signal.” I replied, “We know, we have the organic organism on the sensor, too.” The captain said, “No, We’ve got a signal! A signal from Earth. Return to the ship!” We walked back to the ship only to find out it’s a message for the us government. “Space craft you have one hour to leave Venus before we fire a nuclear warhead at it, what is even on that planet we can’t allow to leave.” Jeff asked, “Do you really think they would really destroy the second planet from the sun.” The captain replied, “I would not doubt it.” Jeff said, “Venus rotates clockwise, so I hope the missiles miss.” I said, “To tell you the truth I hope so too.” The captain said, “We should leave!” A man said, “Look!” We all turned to the window, there was a red color armored organism, as soon as I saw it I knew what it was right away. I said, “We are going out side!” We got the suits back on and grabbed the cold freeze guns and walked to where it was. The captain said, “What is it!?!” as we walked, so I replied, “It’s a bio organic booster armor….Guyver.” We reached it, it was 15 feet away, it’s orb on it’s head glowed. It opened it’s right chest plate with it’s right hand and fired a beam at the ship, completely destroying it. The captain then went crazy, he ran up to it and fired at it. It’s armor froze for a second, but then unfroze and it slashed at him with the blade on it’s arm ripping his suit we heard his dieing scream as he was roasted to death by the heat. The other men ran at it firing with their guns, but it was useless it’s body was immune to the cold and the intense heat. It raised it’s right hand and a sphere of red hot energy formed in it’s hand. It throw it at the men engulfing them, their bodies were completely incinerated by the attack. Up in the sky we could see some ships gathering. Me and Jeff looked at each other and then we both ran away. As we were running we could hear it laugh as it flew up into the sky to destroy the invading ships. Me and Jeff stopped and we gave each other a worried look. Jeff said, “What are we going to do? The ship is destroyed, everyone else is dead. Can we swim in the lava?” I replied, “No, the suits are heat resistant, but they can’t handle the lava because it could get into the seams of the suit.” Jeff said, “We’re stuck here!” I replied, “And we can’t breathe forever!”
