City of heroes/ Villians

Does anyone else play this game in this group? Last time when I was making a chacter I modeled together a Hero which looked alot like a Guyver type costume. Too bad I could not make the charcter with the ablites of the Guyver. I would destroy every Villian in the game. Other than that its a good game just wish they could have made the powers a little better Just the charecter creation as in what powers you have could have been done a litter better so you could mix and match what you wanted a little better.

I've played CoH for the trial. It was interesting. A bit too monotonous for my tastes. But I created a guyver-like character as well, from a Blaster archetype.

The Energy weapons weren't exactly right, but some punches and flashy kicks and it was close enough for me.

Yah CoH is a lot of fun if you're willing to invest alot of time playing it.

Well the blaster would handle the range weapons but then gain I was refering to when you design the charecter the chitin or bio organic armor almost looks like the guyver.

I did a Guyver-esque character on CoH back when I was playing it as well: Martial Arts/Regen scrapper. It was fairly decent (I only took him up to something like level 6 or 7), but the vast majority of my time was spent playing an Electric Blast/Electricity Manipulation blaster (he was level 37 before I finally axed my subscription after not playing for most of two months).

My biggest problem with the game right now is that the developers pretty much have made liars out of themselves. CoH was originally touted to be solo-able all the way to level 50 (the max), and teaming with others was an option. Now, it's the reverse: you're forced to team just to survive, and solo'ing is pretty much a non-option.

I'm not sure if I'll go back to it or not. I might, but I might not. CoV, though, I've heard good things about. I may try it once the price goes down in stores and I have the funds to subscribe again. Depends on what happens over the next few months.
