My theory is that the appearence depens upon the unit. for example guyver 3 would be used by military creator while guyver 2 by royals and guyver 1 as a standard armour.

I have to disagree because the Dormant G unit itself is not specified to a class it was a mere space suit and psychic enhancer and on top of that the creator where not a military race, if that was the case they would not have developed zoanoids and Zoalords for a army to fight there wars

Overlord Supreme (please shorten your name, it's very tempting to just call you Ovy or something), any way, this guy is right. It has been said that the Unit-G boost the host based on the host charactoristics. Different unit styles was something created in the fan fics, though in theory other types of creator tech exist.

one thing that bugged me is that guyver 3 has the 2 vibro blades right next to each other on his arms. I know if it is to add differences but what function does the second blade serve after the first? does it help cut better or something. why not put it on the forearm. that and when he is a gigantic guyver why have 3 blades? why not give guyver 1 2 blades since guyver 3 gets 3.

A human is capable of certain things, therefor a guyver is given certain weapons/tools to compliment the human capabilities. (note: capabilites as a word is being used to describe this generically, I think you know what I meen).

We've already argued about multiple swords a few months ago, and strategically they are useless on regular Guyver 3 in terms of cutting unless one blade can bend off to the side. On the Gigantic they are frequency whips, so I guess g-Dark would have the heads up. Remember though, it is just folded flesh to match the charactoristics of the host.

The human heart was found inferior, the armor forms a replacement that is far superior. The eyes can absorb a lort more light than a human version, but the principle of absorbing light is the same.

In short, all guyvers should have about the same thing, just styled for them personally. We should also remember that they won't always know how to use what they got. Afterall, Sho has just figured out how to use his 'tunneling' power in the later books.

Because of where the swords are placed, the top one appears longer then the one below it, so if the bottom one misses by an inch, then the top one will fix that.

Then theres always the fact that it could just be for appearance meant to make him look intimtating (Sp?)

The reason I believe Sho has only one set is the fact that (If you look at it from the appearance side of things) is that he isn't meant to look intimtating.

Then why would a Unit-G want to look intimidating if each unit is the same, This just leads me to believe that it is the personality of the host that affects the unit-G, Sho?s and Agito;s personalities are very different and each unit appearance fit's the both of them perfect.

Well, there you go, maybe Agito wanted to look powerful and intimtating.

Ummm..... are u reading the post... Our theory is that we are going with, is that the host personality dictates the unit's appearance so if Risker's unit looks evil and we know that Risker wasn't the statue of good will than the unit must have manifested this into the appearance of his unit :?

IMHO, i think that each unit is essentially the same...as you discover in the L/Risker fight that it is believed that the units are essentially the same but ENHANCE the host's abilites...

Now, we could be lead to belive that this is a contradiction in terms, because, for instance. if HOST A has training in sword fighting...we could be lead to believe that the unit would then provide additional or more powerful vibroswords...although I am skeptical of such an arguement. I think that unit is essentially the same....barring some minor outside characteristics and quirks that exist from unit to unit....much like a midpriced sedan from the late 90's is GENERALLY the same as any other mid-priced sedan from the late 90's. Now, I DO wonder if each unit is from the same source...if not, if some units are "inferior" to others...that COULD explain why Agito has an "apparently" more powerful unit. My question is why Lisker has his (for lack of a better word) breathing ports on one side of his face....it seems rather odd to me.

I havent read past the American release of "Armageddeon", so...I cant comment past that (well, and i missed vol 6 "heart of chronos"). But i did manage to snag a copy of that Guyver technical Data Book thats floating around off Ebay and it should get here in a few weeks from Hong Kong. Maybe some of our questions will be answered in there.....now if I can only get back o learning Japanese....^_^.....

Each unit in Takaya's story are same. It's stated as much. The only differance is the host of the unit. Topic locked. Unless you have a data file that states otherwise.
