Hyp3rB14d3 had nearly made it to the location of the battle between the Guyver and the Neo Arcana member. However, just before he reached the point where the Neo Arcana member had landed, a white blur shot by him at incredible speed, and a loud boom echoed around the mountain. The air pressure alone from the speed the blur was moving at was enough to send Hyp3rB14d3 flying backwards into a tree. Wha! What the hell was that!? It was only after he'd made it up to the battlefield and found no trace of either combatant that he concluded it was the Guyver. He must have sent his opponent flying again and taken off after him. Turning toward the trail ripped along the ground in a straight line, Hyp3rB14d3 began following the Guyver's path. But can I catch up? He's like a rocket, and I'm on foot...

[OOC]I'm not going to lie; it's kind of annoying. Don't get me wrong: I'm not mad, just a little annoyed. However, on two occasions, you and BK have had Hyp3rB14d3 act differently than I would have him act without asking permission to use him, and on both occasions I've been forced to explain these actions retroactively. The other place I RP at avoids this problem by forbidding use of other people's characters without obtaining their permission prior to each post in which they are used. This alternative approach may be a little slower, but often, other players will react to situations far differently than one expects, which makes the fights less predictable and often more entertaining. I can understand using NPCs however you please in your posts, or even occasionally borrowing other people's characters once you've gotten an idea of how their characters would act in a certain situation (and being willing to edit your post if they indicate the character would have acted otherwise). However, I've just started RPing here. You haven't seen how my character would react to situations. Nor do I have an adequate understanding of how you guys' characters would react. There's a reason I only control Hyp3rB14d3 in my posts. I'm not going to quit the RP, nor am I going to demand that you not use each others characters as you please. But at least wait until you've seen how Hyp3rB14d3 reacts to different situations before you start using him in your posts, or if you absolutely need to use him in a post, get my permission to do so first. Sorry for the rant.[/OOC]

[OOC]By all means, continue the fight with Koujin. It's going to take Hyp3rB14d3 some time to get up the mountain.[/OOC]

[OOC]I'm planning on having Hyp3rB14d3 fight Justice unless he runs into Strength first (which probably won't happen, since he doesn't even know about Strength at the moment).[/OOC]

It had been a long run from where he had landed to where the fight was taking place, and by the time Hyp3rB14d3 arrived, he was out of breath. Deciding to take a moment to get a measure of the strength of his opponents before charging into the fight (and to take some time to recover), Hyp3rB14d3 hid behind a boulder (although why a boulder was in the middle of a city was a mystery to him). The Neo Arcana member seemed to have the upper hand; the Guyver appeared to be significantly damaged, and, among other things, was leaking a clear fluid from it's face plate. The Neo Arcana member prepared to finish the Guyver off when the Guyver was suddenly enveloped in a blindingly bright white light. However, Hyp3rB14d3 had stopped paying attention to the battle. Instead, he was looking at the surroundings. A building had been torn out of the ground and thrown, several surrounding buildings were damaged, and rubble from the thrown building was everywhere. They're doing it again... Hyp3rB14d3 raised his sword and prepared to enter the battle: he would stab the Guyver from behind, then use his sword's flash to blind the Neo Arcana member and run him through. But just before he acted on his plan, the Guyver kicked the Neo Arcana member into a distant mountain and took off after him. ...Well crap. Turning toward the mountain, Hyp3rB14d3 began running. [OOC]Let me do Hyp3rB14d3's arrival at the battlefield.[/OOC]

I updated Hyp3rB14d3's profile with a colored picture and some more information on his armor.

As he descended, a series of flashes drew Hyp3rB14d3's attention to a nearby town. ...What was that? The site of a building flying through the air confirmed Hyp3rB14d3's fears: the Guyvers were already fighting Neo Arcana. And they were doing it in a city. drenn! I need to get down there before this escalates and the Guyvers start using their lasers to destroy the enemies without regard for the city around them! Again! The blood tendrils holding the center blanket in the 'parachute' suddenly liquefied, and the abandoned blanket fell from the others. Hyp3rB14d3's speed picked up, and he began to approach the ground at a faster rate. Then, all at once, the tendrils holding him to the 'parachute' released it, and Hyp3rB14d3 fell the remaining 20 feet to the ground in freefall. As he plummeted toward the ground, Hyp3rB14d3 tensed, drawing as much strength as he could from his body, and spread his wings. His eyes went bloodshot, his musculature structure shifted, and blood began seeping from the corners of his eyes. But that was as far as his transformation went. Hyp3rB14d3 hit the ground hard, but managed to land feet first and somehow remained standing. Relaxing, Hyp3rB14d3 began running toward where he saw the house fly towards, not bothering with stealth.

It had all been going so well, despite the risks Hyp3rB14d3 had been taking. Unfortunately, if you play the odds long enough, you're bound to fall from their favor. A shout drew Hyp3rB14d3's attention to the back of the plane. Toward the bathroom he'd carved his way into. Uh oh. That can't be good. Moments later, several men in uniforms begin searching the plane. Damn. Looks like they're onto me. Hyp3rB14d3 waits as the men move down the aisles, checking every passenger. Soon enough, one of them asks Hyp3rB14d3 to remove his helmet. Hyp3rB14d3 lifts it up, and after a few seconds, the man moves on to the person next to him. ...They don't know me... After the men have moved down a few aisles, Hyp3rB14d3 stands up and begins heading toward the bathroom. One of the flight attendants says something to him in German, then in Japanese. However, not being capable of speaking either of those languages, Hyp3rB14d3 simply ignores her and calmly walks toward the uniformed man by the bathroom. The man says something to him, again in Japanese. At which point Hyp3rB14d3 abruptly kicks him in the crotch, then hammerfists him to the back of his head. As the man drops, the other uniformed men pull guns on him. However, before any start firing, Hyp3rB14d3 ducks into the bathroom and flees down the tunnel he'd carved earlier. As he arrives in the luggage compartment, he finds two more uniformed men standing around his sword. Kicking one in the head, Hyp3rB14d3 grabs his sword. The other one, however, begins transforming into what may or may not be a Gregole. Hyp3rB14d3 doesn't wait to find out. Midway through the transformation, Hyp3rB14d3 kicks this one in the crotch as well, then follows it up by slamming his sword's hilt into the man's forehead. Grabbing the downed untransformed man, Hyp3rB14d3 throws him down the tunnel. As the half transformed man rises back to his feet, Hyp3rB14d3 pulls the first of five triggers on his sword, and a blinding flash of light fills the room. The half transformed man clutches at his eyes in pain, and Hyp3rB14d3 takes the opportunity to jam him into the tunnel. After a few kicks to make sure that the man was solidly jammed in place, Hyp3rB14d3 begins digging through the luggage. He manages to gather 7 blankets together before the sound of the others struggling to free the stuck man draws his attention away from his work. ...This'll have to be enough. Biting down on his tongue, Hyp3rB14d3 spews out several blood tendrils onto the blankets, binding them together, then begins carving a large hole through the aircraft wall. Three swift slashes later, Hyp3rB14d3 finds himself, the blankets, and some of the cargo being sucked out of the aircraft. Here's hoping the zoanoid never had the sense to turn back into a human. As he falls, several of the tendrils attached to the blankets tie around him, and the blankets spread out. Held together by the blood tendrils, Hyp3rB14d3 forms the blankets into a makeshift parachute. ...I think it's working! As his fall slows to a safe speed, Hyp3rB14d3 looks around. I think I actually made it to Germany! Wonder what the closest city is?

As the broadcast came to an end, Hyp3rB14d3 snorted. Damn. No location. Let's see, did they leave any clues about their location? Hmmm... Hyp3rB14d3 thought about what he'd heard from the broadcast. Specifically, the voices of the terrorists he'd heard. None of them shared an accent, so they're all from different places. Which probably rules out America. And they all spoke English. Hmmm... Lots of countries in Europe have people learn English as a secondary language. And even if they aren't there, it would probably be easier to get around in an English speaking country. Looks like I'm going to Europe! Approximately 26 hours and three failed attempts at sneaking through customs later, Hyp3rB14d3 managed to slip into the luggage compartment of a passenger plane heading for Germany. After carving his way into the bathroom, Hyp3rB14d3 joined the other customers. Amazingly, nobody questioned the sudden appearance of a winged Caucasian man in green armor. Perhaps the presence of cosplayers heading for NipponCon in Neumünster had something to do with this.

Hyp3rB14d3 had just managed to get back to Shinjuku and was considering where to steal food from when he heard a voice from a television set in a nearby electronics shop. "Good morning everyone of the planet Earth. I am 'The Reaper'." Wait a second. That was in English. And not the unintelligible 'English' I've been hearing from the Japanese people that notice me, but clearly spoken, properly enunciated English. Having gone nearly a month without understanding most of what was being said to and around him, Hyp3rB14d3's attention was effectively glued to the television screen. " I am one of the 13 new masters of this planet. We rise up and defy the order and control that Chronos has placed upon this world and now declare our own. As you can see, there is a man tied to a chair and that he is in pretty bad shape. That is because he decided to defy us." Wait, isn't he one of the Guyvers? "No he is not with Chronos but with one of the many rebel groups that oppose them. Before I continue any more I will pause for one minute as I would like the being known as the Dark Quantum Guyver to listen to what I have to say." ...They're just as bad as the Guyvers! Maybe even worse! At least the Guyvers had the sense not to challenge Chronos and all the other rebel groups at the same time! Hopefully they won't respond. Hyp3rB14d3's thoughts briefly returned to the battle against the rogue Guyver that had been fought in the city. How they had placed a higher priority on killing the rogue Guyver than they had on getting the fight out of the city and preventing collateral damage, even though they were supposedly trying to save the world. ...Like hell they won't. I've already seen how far those extremists are willing to go to take out their enemies, and these idiots just made a declaration of war against them while holding one of their members hostage! I need to get over there and put an end to this before the Guyvers take things into their own hands. ...Come to think of it, where exactly are these '13 masters of the world' at?

[OOC] Oops. Um...er... Rule of funny?[/OOC]

It was the day of the 'meeting.' If all went well, the English speaking guyver would soon arrive. From the bottom of a shallow pit, Hyp3rB14d3 waited in silence. Just above him, an incredibly convincing scarecrow dressed in a black outfit, a rubber George Bush mask, a trenchcoat, gloves, and a ski mask sat in a cheap lawn chair. Concealed within its head was a walkie talkie; concealed within its body was Hyp3rB14d3's own blood with which he intended to manipulate it. All that was left was for the guyver to show up. 2 hours later Damnit. I don't think he's coming. They must have realized it was a trap. Despite all his preparation, Hyp3rB14d3 somehow managed to miss the fact that Koujin had gone to Hawaii on vacation nearly a month beforehand.
-
[OOC]So does that mean he won't be getting Hyp3rB14d3's message from Sho and that the trap will be bypassed simply because he doesn't know about it?[/OOC]

Once again, Hyp3rB14d3 found himself at the clearing. Tomorrow's when he should arrive. Either he will come or he won't. But if he does come, I'll be prepared. Having swiped a shovel, as well as an all black outfit, a rubber novelty mask, and a stocking, Hyp3rB14d3 was in the process of digging a pit. Once I finish, I'll cover it up and hide the dirt. The guyver won't know what hit him!

Near the Odagiri Mansion This is where I'm sensing the blood that Guyver ate at. I guess they're inside. Dressed once again in his trenchcoat and hat over his armor, Hyp3rB14d3 cautiously approached the door of the mansion. Retrieving an envelope from his coat pocket, Hyp3rB14d3 slipped it under the door. Turning around, he began quickly retreating from the mansion. Alright. Everything's in place. Either he will come or he won't. Within the envelope was a letter addressed to "The English-Speaking Gentleman From The Encounter with the Rogue Guyver Unit." The letter itself read as follows: "Sir, It has come to my attention that there are others attempting to destroy the organization Chronos. I believe that, with your aid, I can successfully free Shinjuku from Chronos' rule within 2 weeks time. If you are interested in aiding in my plan, or at least hearing what it is, meet me in the woods south of the city at the reddish-brown clearing at noon. Come alone. If more than one person shows up to meet me, I will assume that Chronos has discovered this message and will retreat to a safe location. I look forward to meeting with you. Until then, may good fortune follow you wherever you go. -The Gentleman Rebel" As he retreated from the mansion, it occurred to Hyp3rB14d3 that this might not even be their base, just a meeting place of some sort. ...Well, let's just hope they get the letter...

In a forest south of the city, Hyp3rB14d3 finishes setting the stage for his upcoming battle. "...Whew." Looks like I'm done here. Having cleared a nearly 400 square meter area of forest of all trees, shrubbery, and wildlife, and having then splattered his blood all throughout the area, Hyp3rB14d3 looked around, feeling more than a little dazed. Right then... All that's left now is to steal some food, give myself a day to recover, and then contact the guyvers.
-
Damnit. It didn't work. Hyp3rB14d3 had successfully escaped from the guyvers. However, when he tried to kill them, his tendrils proved incapable of penetrating their armor. Indeed, the guyvers didn't even notice them. Then, the guyvers all took off, and a few minutes later, he lost track of all his blood on the armor. Which probably meant they were onto him. And now we're back to square one. ...No, not back to square one. I now know that if I wish to kill them, I can't hope to do it with my blood tendrils. They can't penetrate their armor. No, I'm going to need to use my sword. And now that I know that they can regenerate, I realize that I must either inflict a large amount of damage over an extremely short period of time or kill them with a single stroke. And most importantly of all, now that I've seen that they won't hesitate to use their incredibly destructive lasers within a city, I know that I need to draw them out of the city before I can attack them if I want to keep civilian casualties to a minimum. Hmm... My tendrils do anything outside of their armor, but what about inside? The foundations of a plan forming within his mind, Hyp3rB14d3 grinned, despite his situation.

Yeah, it was a pretty abrupt thing. Here's the post it happened in with all the other stuff cut away.

[OOC]Sho took off in the Gigantic to help the others, everyone else stayed where they were.[/OOC]

[OOC]Actually, since Hyp3rB14d3 is my screen name, I have had lots of practice typing it. So nope, it doesn't bother me at all.[/OOC] Alright, everything's in place. Having managed to splash all of the Guyvers with some of his blood during the fight, including the rather large new arrival, Hyp3rB14d3 stepped away from the group. I really hope this works. Pausing, he glance toward the area that was once a city, the space that had been razed to the ground by the megasmashers of four guyvers. As he thought of the portion of the city that had been destroyed by the guyvers in their attempts to destroy Kajima, Hyp3rB14d3 felt a stab of rage, but resisted the urge to blow his cover prematurely. Instead, he slowly retreated from the group In the distance, on the path he'd arrived from and planned to lead the Guyvers down, the puddles of blood Hyp3rB14d3 had left twitched. Suddenly reforming into tendrils, they slithered toward each other and merged together into one large tendril. Slithering down the street like a crimson serpent, the blood tendril suddenly emerged from behind the Chronos group. Lunging into their ranks, it split into several tendrils, which subsequently latched onto a few of the hyper zoanoids, prompting a yell from the group. Taking advantage of the choas, Hyp3rB14d3 slipped away from the guyvers. The hyper zoanoids would be fine. After all, he wasn't actually trying to hurt them, just distract long enough to get away. Once I'm far enough away from those city destroying bastards, I'll take them out with my blood.
-
[OOC]It's fine. I just want to make it clear that Hyp3rB14d3's going to be an enemy of the group and is more than willing to take advantage of the opportunity to go after them too.[/OOC]
-
[OOC]Hyp3rB14d3 sees everyone there as enemies. He's just focused on Kaizer Kaijin because it was actively attacking civilians. If any of the Guyvers got near him, he'd probably attack them, even if they were trying to help him.[/OOC]
-
[OOC]Um...You still left the part at the end where you mention that the Kaizer Kaijin is devouring Robert.[/OOC]

Hyp3rB14d3 is vaguely surprised when one of the Guyvers responds in English. But not surprised enough to forget his outrage. "Even if you didn't start the battle, you finished it in a manner that took out half the town!" Hyp3rB14d3 shouts. "What's more, you chose not to lead your opponent out of the town, but to fight him withi-" It is at this point that the creature the Guyvers had been fighting decided to make itself known by attacking a nearby civilian. "Wha- Oh s***!" Pulling his sword's fifth trigger, which results in the activation of it's high frequency vibration feature, Hyp3rB14d3 lunges at the creature, making a diagonal swipe toward its head. As he moves toward it, his left 'blood wing' reforms into a sickle-like blade, preparing to deflect any counterattacks from the creature.
-
Several minutes had passed, and there was no sign of the lunatic swordsman or his guyver accomplice. Looks like I lost them. But damn. I didn't know the Guyvers could attack from their human forms like that. Or that they could absorb people into themselves. He almost had me with that la- Ah. There it is. However, as he bent down to retrieve his trench coat from the ground where he'd ditched it, Hyp3rB14d3 abruptly looked up, his ears drawn to a sound in the distance, some ways off from where he'd last seen the duo of terrorists. Is...is that screaming? OH HELL! ARE THEY ATTACKING CIVILIANS TO LURE ME BACK?! The flashing lights coming from the direction of the screaming was all the confirmation Hyp3rB14d3 needed. Several minutes passed before Hyp3rB14d3 managed to make it over to the area where the fighting was taking place. Just before he reached it, an unbelievably large blast enveloped the area, destroying several city blocks in a straight line. ...NO! THOSE BASTARDS! From the stump that had once been his left wing, a tendril of blood escaped. Sliding down his left arm, it deposited itself within Hyp3rB14d3's trench coat. He then proceeded to squirt several spouts of blood around the area, leaving several puddles. His trap ready, Hyp3rB14d3 stepped out from behind the rubble that was left of a building that had been caught in the blast. "YOU BASTARDS! YOU BASTARDS! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH!" In his frustration at seeing the guyvers attacking the city, Hyp3rB14d3 had forgotten to take into account the fact that he couldn't speak Japanese, a fact that only just now crossed his mind. He decided he didn't care. "ALLOWING CIVILIANS TO GET CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE! KILLING THEM TO DRAW ME OUT! WELL, NOW YOU'VE GOT ME!" Throwing his trench coat at the ground between him and the guyvers in apparent frustration, Hyp3rB14d3 raises his sword before him. "SO COME GET SOME!" From the stump of his left wing, blood tendrils emerge and form into a new wing, a crimson copy of his original left wing.
