1817-"IN TRAINING" Based Upon: Samurai Sentai Shinkenjaa "Act 14: The Foreign Samurai" ------------------------------------------------------------ EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-DAY [in the morning, Cody is hiking towards the Orikami Village when he comes across a young man from a nearby village.] RYUSEI: Excuse me...Cody? Cody Egawa? The Blue Ranger? CODY EGAWA: (in shock) Can...can I help you? RYUSEI: My name is Ryusei...from the Tenkuu Village...I'm a big fan of you and the other Power Rangers. I witnessed your battle with Yami in person! I would like to learn the ways of the Samurai. CODY EGAWA: I don't know...I'm not sure if I can...but I will see. RYUSEI: Bye! [The two go their separate ways...Cody continues to the Orikami Village.] EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL VILLAGE-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [Cody tells what happened to the others and Paolo.] CODY EGAWA: So...I don't know what to do now. DIMITRI FEDOROV: Well, you can always run him through the ropes...maybe he'll quit. [Taking Dimitri's words to thought, Cody feels a bit guilty, and decides to encourage Ryusei not to give up.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [Crustacea eavesdrops on the rangers' training session, and notices the passion and the fire of the team, and how they remember the exact moves.] CRUSTACEA: They way to beat the rangers is by fighting fire with fire! OCTO: And I have just the Aykasi to complete the job! Elephire! ELEPHIRE: (as he blows fire through his trunk) I got the memory, and the fire! IOD: Excellent! Now, go and destroy the city by burning it down! ELEPHIRE: (laughing as he exits) It's gonna be a hot time in the ol' town! EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-DAY [in the woods, Cody and Ryusei are training.] CODY EGAWA: Now, whatever you do...don't give up! RYUSEI: I am determined to keep going! [The training session is well in progress as Elephire arrives with an army of Kanizars.] ELEPHIRE: Aw, how sweet! A training session! [suddenly, the other four rangers arrive, morphed.] CODY EGAWA: Ryusei! Get to safety! [Cody prepares his Kendo Cell, and converts it to Brush Mode.] Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform! [The Blue Ranger suit "fully-forms" over Cody's body. He then charges into battle alongside the other rangers. During the battle, Ryusei decides to help.] RYUSEI: They need my help! [Ryusei joins the other rangers.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: Ryusei! I told you to get to safety! You don't know what you're doing! RYUSEI: You guys need my help! ELEPHIRE: Ah, a novice! You should be easy to defeat! [Elephire blows fire from his trunk towards Ryusei to nearly incinerate him.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: Let us handle this guy...your training is over, Ryusei...you need to go home before you get hurt. INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [The next day, the team tries to comfort Cody as he feels bad about yelling at Ryusei.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Cody...you did what you had to do... MEGAN NOIMI: ...It was for his own safety... SIERRA CROFT: ...He could have been killed out there! [The sensor alarm rings out...Elephire is back in the city.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: Come on, guys...we need to go! [The five depart the village for the city.] EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY [The unmorphed rangers arrive and confront Elephire.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Hey! Hot-head! [The five team members prepare their Kendo Cells, and get ready to morph.] ALL: (as they draw their symbols out in front of them) Spirits Of The Orikami! [The five touch their symbols to turn them around as they press the morph button.] Transform! [The suits "fully-form" over the quintet.] RED KENDO RANGER: (posing) "Spirit Of Fire! Red Kendo Ranger!" BLUE KENDO RANGER: (posing) "Spirit Of Water! Blue Kendo Ranger!" PINK KENDO RANGER: (posing) "Spirit Of Air! Pink Kendo Ranger!" GREEN KENDO RANGER: (posing) "Spirit Of Wood! Green Kendo Ranger!" YELLOW KENDO RANGER: (posing) "Spirit Of Earth! Yellow Kendo Ranger!" ALL RANGERS: (posing) We Are The Protectors Of Earth! Power Rangers: Kendo Warriors! [After the team poses, they reach into their belt buckles to retrieve their Power Discs, and place them onto the hilt of their sheathed Kendo Razors.] Kendo Razors! [The team unsheathe their primary weapons, and use them on the Aykasi. After a few minutes, Elephire gets the best of the rangers, who must pull back and regroup.] ELEPHIRE: Aw, where's your friend? Did he get toasted? BLUE KENDO RANGER: Nevermind him...you have the five of us to deal with! ELEPHIRE: How 'bout I roast you! [Elephire blasts the rangers with fire from his trunk, which knocks the rangers down, and nearly into unconsciousness.] RED KENDO RANGER: (smarting with some pain) Wow! Anyone get the number of that trunk! [suddenly, Ryusei arrives in his practice armor, and confronts the Aykasi.] RYUSEI: Hey! Leave them alone! ELEPHIRE: If you can't stand the heat...then get out of my way, 'cause I'm hot, hot, hot! RYUSEI: (while protecting the rangers as they try to recover) I am a student of the Spirit of Water, and I'm here to cool you down! ELEPHIRE: Ooh! I'm so scared! [Elephire blows fire from his trunk towards Ryusei to nearly incinerate him again.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: (joining Ryusei) And I have the Spirit of Water, and together...we're gonna put you out! [The Blue Ranger opens his belt buckle to retrieve his Blue Disc, and places it onto the hilt of the Kendo Razor, and charges it up.] Nature Sword! Water Flow Sword! [The Blue Ranger executes the attack, then upgrades to his second attack.] Dragon Waterfall! [The Blue Ranger executes the second attack. He then converts his Kendo Razor into the Hydro Arrow, and puts the Blue Disc onto it.] Ryusei...come hold the Hydro Arrow with me...together, our water attacks will defeat him! [Ryusei joins the Blue Ranger in holding the weapon.] BLUE KENDO RANGER AND RYUSEI: Hydro Cannon! [The weapon fires a barrage of energy arrows at Elephire to weaken him. In celebration, the two give each other a high-five.] Yes! RED KENDO RANGER: Fire Striker! [The Red Ranger calls for his weapon as the others retrieve their personal Kendo Discs from their belt buckles. The five put the discs onto the weapon. The Blue Ranger then retrieves the Marlin Disc, and puts it onto the weapon, and have Ryusei join them.] ALL RANGERS AND RYUSEI: Kendo Fishing Cast! [The rangers fire the blast from the weapon at Elephire who then collapses, and grows.] RYUSEI: (as the others join him and the Blue Ranger) Don't give up, guys! [The rangers kneel down and use their Kendo Cells to draw the grow symbol over their emblems.] ALL RANGERS: We Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami! [The emblems then grow and envelope the quintet, and convert into the Kendozords.] Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The three male rangers then summon the auxiliary Kendozords.] RED KENDO RANGER, BLUE KENDO RANGER, AND GREEN KENDO RANGER: Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The three auxiliary Kendozords combine. to form their megazord mode, then combine with the Kendo Megazord.] ALL RANGERS: AeroKen Megazord, Power Up! [The combined megazord stands ready to battle as Ryusei looks on from below.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: It's getting too hot around here! Let's give the city a cooling trend! ALL RANGERS: AeroKen Slash! [The megazord executes it's finisher to destroy Elephire. The megazord lands on it's feet and poses victoriously as the rangers celebrate in the cockpit. Elephire cackles in blue lightning bolts, then shatters into a billion little pieces of ice. Ryusei celebrates on the ground.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [iod is asleep as Octo approaches him and Crustacea.] OCTO: Everything okay? CRUSTACEA: I don't want to disturb him...especially when the rangers just defeated Elephire. [iod wakes up in a rage.] IOD: (angerly) What! EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-DAY [As the sun barely begins to set, Ryusei begins to depart for the Tenkuu Village. Before he goes, he reveals the reason why he sought the rangers.] RYUSEI: Thank you for teaching me, Cody. I want to use my new-found techniques to to protect my village. CODY EGAWA: That is very noble of you, Ryusei...and...I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier. RYUSEI: It's okay. Well, I need to get going. It was fun! [The quintet bids Ryusei good-bye as he departs through the forest towards his home.] ------------------------------------------------------------------ NEXT TIME ON POWER RANGERS: KENDO WARRIORS... OCTO: His plan will begin in the morning in the plaza. IOD: Excellent! EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-FARMER'S MARKET AND SWAP MEET-DAY [The next morning, the plaza is holding a Farmer's Market and Swap Meet for the public to enjoy. While there, we see Megan with a wicker basket, walking from table to table, buying vegetables to use in making the night's dinner at the village.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [Paolo walks in on the rest of the team practicing.] PAOLO NOIMI: (the others face him) You all might be wondering where Megan is...well, I sent her into the city's Farmer's Market to by vegetables so she can make dinner tonight. [Three out of the four groan in displeasure.] CODY EGAWA: Paolo...the last time she made dinner, I almost didn't wake up the next morning! EDDIE CALLAHAN: Hey! Don't knock Megan's cooking! DIMITRI FEDOROV: Um, Eddie...I recall that night too...you didn't like her cooking either. CODY EGAWA: Okay, Eddie...If you like her cooking so much, then you would be the first to take a bite tonight. EDDIE CALLAHAN: Deal! EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-FARMER'S MARKET AND SWAP MEET-DAY [Megan (who already has a full bounty in her basket of fresh fruits and vegetables) leaves on table, and approaches a table that has a bunch of small dolls made from clothes pins.] MEGAN NOIMI: Hello, sir...how much for four? SHADY SALESMAN: One dollar. MEGAN NOIMI: I'll take them. [Megan and the salesman complete the sale, and she leaves the plaza. On her way back to the village, she encounters four kids, who are crying.] What's wrong!? CRYING KID: Our parents bought us these dolls, and they all of a sudden just turned to dust! MEGAN NOIMI: Come on...let's go complain to that salesman. [Megan has the kids follow her back to the doll salesman's table to complain.] You sold these dolls to these kids' parents, and they turned to dust! SHADY SALESMAN: Well, they are supposed to do that. [The shady salesman changes his form from a human into a gray, black, and red Aykasi with a long-handled club.] NAKI: I am Naki...and all sales are final! Soul Catcher! MEGAN NOIMI Run! [The kids try to stop crying, but they cannot. Megan continues to face the Aykasi, and retrieves her Kendo Cell.] I want my dollar back! Spirits Of The Orikami! [Megan draws out her symbol in front of her, and touches it to turn it around.] Transform! [The Pink Ranger suit forms over Megan's body.] NAKI: Ooh! A lone Power Ranger! Kanizars...attack! [Naki summons a small army of minions to overpower the Pink Ranger, who opens her belt buckle to retrieve her Power Disc, and put it onto the hilt of her weapon.] PINK KENDO RANGER: Kendo Razor! [The Pink Ranger charges in and easily defeats the small army of Kanizars.] Next! NAKI: Fire Club! [The Pink Ranger spins the Power Disc to transform her Kendo Razor into her Aero Fan.] PINK KENDO RANGER: (retrieving her Pink Disc, and putting it onto her secondary weapon) Aero Fan! [The Pink Ranger deflects the Aykasi's attack with her secondary weapon. Soon, the other rangers arrive.] GREEN KENDO RANGER: Megan! We got here as soon as we could! [suddenly, Crustacea arrives at the scene next to Naki.] RED KENDO RANGER: Ah, the fun's just getting started! CRUSTACEA: We have plans for you! Naki...throw your dolls at the Red, Blue, and Green Rangers so they cannot call on their secondary megazord! NAKI: Excellent idea, Crustacea! [Naki throws the dolls at the three male rangers. The dolls release spores into the air as they turn to dust and crumble. The three male rangers fall to their knees and de-morph...all three start to cry uncontrollably.] YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Guys! CRUSTACEA: Three down... NAKI: ...Two to go! [both villains start to laugh maniacally as they vanish.] PINK KENDO RANGER: We got to get them back to the village. YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Maybe Nala can help them! [The two female rangers help the guys up, and head back to the village.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [The girls and Paolo try their best to cheer up the guys.] PAOLO NOIMI: All the sadness caused by Naki's powers will make the River Styx in Purgatory overflow into the surface world, and break the protection seal on the Stygian ship. MEGAN NOIMI: We can't let that happen! [The girls depart the base, and head back to the city to cheer up the crying kids. As the girls leave, Nala enters the base.] NALA CALI: Don't worry...I will see what I can do. [The girls seem reassured as they continue to the city.] EXT.-CITY-DAY [The girls arrive to find Naki making more kids cry.] MEGAN NOIMI: Hey! Leave those kids alone! NAKI: Make me! MEGAN NOIMI AND SIERRA CROFT: (as they prepare their morphers) Spirits Of The Orikami! [Megan and Sierra draw out their symbols in front of them, and touch it to turn them around.] Transform! [The Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger suits forms over Megan and Sierra's bodies.] PINK KENDO RANGER: Sierra...go calm the kids down...I'll handle Naki! [The Yellow Ranger goes to try to calm the kids down.] NAKI: Ready for round two!? Fire Club! PINK KENDO RANGER: Not this time! [The Pink Ranger charges in closer so the Aykasi has a harder time using his weapon.] NAKI: Batter up! [Naki swings his club like a baseball bat, and strikes the Pink Ranger in the mid-section to launch her...she lands about one hundred feet away. She tries to recover to her feet while holding her stomach area...she is in a considerable amount of pain.] Aw, did I hurt the wittle pink wanger? YELLOW KENDO RANGER: (noticing her injured comrade) Megan! You okay!? PINK KENDO RANGER: (angry) I will be as soon as that creep is gone! EXT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-DAY [The calming drys up the river, beaching the ship a bit.] EXT.-CITY-DAY [The Pink Ranger recovers in front of a taunting Aykasi.] YELLOW KENDO RANGER: You're going down! PINK KENDO RANGER: Sierra...I got an idea...let's call on our secondary weapons and combine our attacks! YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Good idea! [The two female rangers spin their Power Discs on their Kendo Razors to transform them into the Aero Fan and Geo Slicer. The two then reach into their belt buckles to retrieve the Pink Disc and Yellow Disc, and place them onto their weapons.] Geo Slicer! PINK KENDO RANGER: Aero Fan! PINK KENDO RANGER AND YELLOW KENDO RANGER: (the two ready their weapons to attack the Aykasi. The two throw the weapons at Naki.) Meteor Shower! [The combined attack defeats the Aykasi, who then grows. Soon, the three cured male rangers arrive to help their teammates.] RED KENDO RANGER: Let's call on the Kendozords! ALL RANGERS: (while kneeling down with their morphers and Emblems) We Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami! [The quintet draw the symbols over the Emblems to make them grow and envelop them.] Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The five Kendozords join together to combine into their megazord formation.] Kendo Megazord, Ready! [As the megazord stands ready to battle the Aykasi, the Blue Ranger suggests forming the Aero Megazord as well.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: I say we call for the Aero Megazord as well! [The three auxiliary Kendozords arrive, and combine into it's megazord formation.] RED KENDO RANGER, BLUE KENDO RANGER, AND GREEN KENDO RANGER: Aero Megazord, Ready To Fly! [The Aero Megazord flies upward to execute a special attack.] Dive Bomb! [The megazord plummets toward the ground and latches onto the back of the Aykasi.] NAKI: Get off of me! [The attack dissolves Naki's Soul Catcher skill, returning all affected to normal.] PINK KENDO RANGER AND YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Divine Sword Slash! [The Kendo Megazord executes it's finisher to destroy Naki just after the Aero Megazord gets off of his back.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [iod witnesses Naki's destruction, and yells at Octo for his Aykasi's failure.] EXT.-CITY-NIGHT [At dusk, the team helps reunite the children with their parents before heading back to the village for dinner.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-DINING HALL-NIGHT [A bit later, Megan finishes cooking dinner.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Okay Eddie...time for you to take the first bite! [Eddie takes a bite, and tells everyone that it is delicious. Not believing him, they too take a bite of food, and agree with him.] ------------------------------------------- NEXT TIME ON POWER RANGERS: KENDO WARRIORS... 1815-"RED UNDER PRESSURE (2)" Based Upon: Samurai Sentai Shinkenjaa "Act 12: Historical First Super Samurai Combination" ------------------------------------------------- EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-NIGHT [Dimitri runs through the forest towards the Bamboo Valley.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-NIGHT [On the banks of the River Styx, the three initial villains face Sanzu.] IOD: (with his broadsword drawn) Sanzu...I wanted Ushiro to destroy the Red Ranger! SANZU: (with his sword drawn) Destroying the Red Ranger was to be my job, Iod! [both sides strike each other's blade, causing a few sparks.] IOD: I am the current leader of the Stygians, Sanzu...what I say goes! SANZU: (as he transforms into his human form) I do not have to stand for this! I shall take my leave. [sanzu tries to depart the beach.] IOD: Go ahead...leave. But, Kanizars...attack! [The Kanizars attack Sanzu, and beat him senseless.] And now, I will seal your Stygian powers! [iod raises his sword to absorb Sanzu's powers as the fallen villain sinks into the waters of the River Styx.] OCTO: (to Ushiro) Go and continue your mission. USHIRO: (happy) Yeah! [ushiro departs the beach as well.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [The team returns sees that Paolo is worried, although he does not show concern.] MEGAN NOIMI: Father, Dimitri will return. Don't worry. PAOLO NOIMI: I am not worried. [Paolo claims that he is not worried, but Paolo clearly is showing some concern.] EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-BAMBOO VALLEY-DAY [Dimitri sits Indian-style on a rock thinking to himself. Soon, a young boy from a nearby village comes upon the thinking Dimitri.] OKAI: What's you name? DIMITRI FEDOROV: My name is Dimitri...what's your's? OKAI: Okai...from the Bamboo Village. What are you doing here? DIMITRI FEDOROV: Thinking. Thinking about my destiny...and a prophecy. OKAI: So...you have family problems too? DIMITRI FEDOROV: You...could say that. OKAI: Look...I know what it is like. My father passed away before I was born. Aside from pictures and videos, I have no clue what his was like. DIMITRI FEDOROV: Thanks for the encouragement. USHIRO: (rising from a crack in a tree) Ah, that was so touching. [Dimitri readies his morpher, and insta-morphs with a streak of red.] OKAI: (seeing the device) You're a Power Ranger? RED KENDO RANGER: Not just any ranger...the Red Kendo Ranger. [ushiro grabs the boy, and clutches him even tighter.] USHIRO: Lookie what I got! [The Red Ranger tries to move in to save Okai.] Hold it, Red Ranger...come any closer, and I will destroy him! [The Red Ranger thinks for a minute, unsheathes his Kendo Razor, and leaps upward. Soon, the Red Ranger lands behind the Aykasi.] RED KENDO RANGER: Peek-a-boo! [The Red Ranger punches the Aykasi to make him release Okai.] Okai! Run! USHIRO: You'll pay for that, Red Ranger! [suddenly, the four other rangers leap in to help their leader.] Kanizars! [The minions crawl of out every surrounding crevasse, and face the rangers, who snap into action as the Red Ranger goes up against Ushiro. The Red Ranger feverishly tries to prepare to defend himself. He spins the Power Disc on his Kendo Razor to transform it into his secondary weapon.] RED KENDO RANGER: Fire Striker! Cannon Mode! [The Red Ranger then opens his belt buckle to retrieve the Tiger Disc, and installs it onto the weapon to power it up. The other rangers open up their belt buckles to retrieve their personal Kendo Discs, and place them onto the Fire Striker with the Red Disc.] ALL RANGERS: Tiger Prowl Strike! [The weapon is fired at Ushiro, which defeats him...but suddenly, the Aykasi resurrects, and grows into his giant form prompting the rangers to kneel down with their Orikami Emblems, and drawing a symbol with their Kendo Cells.] We Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami! [The small Orikami Spirits grow into giant Kendozords. During the transformation, the rangers are enveloped in their zords. In their individual cockpits, the rangers remove their black Kendo Discs, and install them onto the Kendo Razors, and insert the weapons (blade down) into their control panels.] RED KENDO RANGER: (as he places his hand over the hilt of the Kendo Razor) Spirit Of The Flame! Lion Kendozord, Go! BLUE KENDO RANGER: (as he places his hand over the hilt of the Kendo Razor) Spirit Of The Water! Dragon Kendozord, Go! PINK KENDO RANGER: (as she places his hand over the hilt of the Kendo Razor) Spirit Of The Sky! Turtle Kendozord, Go! GREEN KENDO RANGER: (as he places his hand over the hilt of the Kendo Razor) Spirit Of The Woods! Bear Kendozord, Go! YELLOW KENDO RANGER: (as she places his hand over the hilt of the Kendo Razor) Spirit Of The Land! Monkey Kendozord, Go! ALL RANGERS: Kendozords, Power Up! [The individual Kendozords try to battle the Aykasi, but have a hard time.] RED KENDO RANGER: Let's bring them together! ALL RANGERS: Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The five Kendozords join together to form their megazord formation.] Kendo Megazord, Ready! USHIRO: Oh, I'm not done yet...Avizars! [An air force of winged Ibizars materialize from small rifts in the sky, and attack the megazord.] PINK KENDO RANGER: What's that!? GREEN KENDO RANGER: Flying Ibizars!? [The Avizars begin to overwhelm the megazord.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: We need the Aero Megazord! RED KENDO RANGER: Let's go! [The three male Kendo Rangers all exit the megazord, and walk out onto the robot's chest. The three rangers install the appropriate Kendo Discs onto their Kendo Razors, and spin them to call forth the three auxiliary Kendozords.] GREEN KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Mountain! Beetle Kendozord, Go! BLUE KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Sea! Marlin Kendozord, Go! RED KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Jungle! Tiger Kendozord, Go! ALL THREE MALE RANGERS: Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The three auxiliary Kendozords all join together to form their megazord mode. The three male rangers all leap into the megazord's cockpit.] RED KENDO RANGER: Aero Megazord ALL THREE MALE RANGERS: Ready To Fly! [The Aero Megazord slowly moves away from the Kendo Megazord, as it recovers, and performs several high-flying maneuvers.] USHIRO: Come back here, power pests! ALL RANGERS: Spirit Fusion! [The five Kendo Rangers use their Kendo Cells to draw out the command symbols. The Aero Megazord then flies upward, and comes around to combine with the Kendo Megazord. Pieces of the Aero Megazord break apart to attach onto the Kendo Megazord, with the Tiger Kendozord's head becoming a new helmet for the new megazord. In the cockpit, from left-to-right are the Pink Ranger...Green Ranger...Red Ranger...Blue Ranger...and the Yellow Ranger.] AeroKen Megazord, Power Up! [The new megazord stands ready for battle. Using the drills from the Tiger, the megazord defeats the Avizars, and turns it's attention to Ushiro.] Next!? USHIRO: (with his sword) Dual Slash! [ushiro tries to strike the megazord, but it flies upward.] ALL RANGERS: AeroKen Slash! [The megazord executes it's finisher to destroy Ushiro. The megazord lands on it's feet and poses victoriously as the rangers celebrate in the cockpit.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-NIGHT [That night, Dimitri is welcomed back to the village.] PAOLO NOIMI: Dimitri...there is one thing I didn't tell you. Your ancestor was the leader of this village...and is also my ancestor as well. DIMITRI FEDOROV: You mean...? PAOLO NOIMI: Welcome home...grandson. MEGAN NOIMI: So, Dimitri...I guess that makes us family? EDDIE CALLAHAN: Watch it...or some other secret could come out. MEGAN NOIMI: What? You mean that date we're having later tonight? [Eddie looks a bit embarrassed as he starts to blush.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: (as the couple departs the village) Don't stay out too late. [Dimitri looks on with some reservations about his place in life. What did he say to him? OCTO: Sanzu told the Red Ranger that he was an excellent swordsman, just like his father...and it would be his downfall. IOD: That Sanzu makes me so furious sometimes...I want every Kanizar to go into the city with me. EXT.-CITY-DAY [The unmorphed rangers arrive to see the army of Kanizars.] MEGAN NOIMI: Whoa! SIERRA CROFT: (freaking out a bit) We've never been up against this many! DIMITRI FEDOROV: (as he and the others prepare their morphers) Let's go to work, guys! ALL: Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform! [The suits "fully-form" over the quintet.] RED KENDO RANGER: (posing) Spirit Of Fire! Red Kendo Ranger! BLUE KENDO RANGER: (posing) Spirit Of Water! [The rangers open their belt buckles to retrieve their Power Discs, and install them onto their Kendo Rangers, then unsheathe them to charge into battle the minions. Soon, the rangers defeat the minions.] IOD: Very good...now for the second wave! Kanizars! [More Kanizars rise up from the cracks in the ground, and face the rangers.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: Not again! IOD: Correct...but this time, Kanizars...attack...the Red Ranger! RED KENDO RANGER: Oh, no! [The Red Ranger feverishly tries to prepare to defend himself. He spins the Power Disc on his Kendo Razor to transform it into his secondary weapon.] Fire Striker! [The Red Ranger then opens his belt buckle to retrieve his Red Disc, and installs it onto the weapon to power it up.] Magma Slicer! [As the weapon glows red, the Red Ranger swings it like a baseball bat, to destroy all the Kanizars.] You're next, Iod! IOD: Next time, Red Ranger...you won't be as lucky! [iod vanishes, and the team heads back to the village.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [The five unmorphed rangers sit around to ponder why Iod told the Kanizars to attack Dimitri.] MEGAN NOIMI: Father...why did Iod send the second wave of Kanizars to attack Dimitri only? PAOLO NOIMI: It may have something to do with his past, Megan. DIMITRI FEDOROV: What...secret, Paolo? Why did Iod focus the attack onto me!? PAOLO NOIMI: Dimitri...your death will break a containment seal on their ship, which would merge Purgatory with the surface world. DIMITRI FEDOROV: What!? How can that be? I mean...the Red Ancient Warrior was the one to seal the Stygians a thousand years ago...his descendants are the only ones that are able to seal them! PAOLO NOIMI: Dimitri...you...are one of the descendants. Your ancestor was the Red Ancient Warrior. And you, are the current generation of the Red Warrior that can seal the Stygians. [The new revelations send Dimitri reeling a bit.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: I think I need to sit down for a minute. [Dimitri goes to sit down.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [back on the ship, Iod gets ready to take a nap.] IOD: Octo...a want an Aykasi to go into the city and annihilate the Red Ranger. OCTO: And I have just the one...Ushiro! [The gray, black, and red monster climbs aboard the ship.] USHIRO: You called!? OCTO: Lord Iod wants you to go into the city, and destroy the Red Ranger. USHIRO: What about the others? OCTO: After you get the Red Ranger. USHIRO: Yes, sir! [ushiro departs the ship.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [The five team members all ponder their next move when the alert system rings out...there is an Aykasi in the city. Four of the five team members depart the base for the city...Dimitri is still a bit in the dumps.] EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY [The four unmorphed team members arrive to find Ushiro trashing the area, and making the citizens flee.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: Hey! Ugly! [The four prepare their Kendo Cells by converting them into their Brush Mode.] ALL: Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform! [The four then draw out their respective symbols, and press the "morph" button, and touch the symbols to turn them around. The suits "fully-form" over the quartet. The four then open their belt buckles to retrieve their Power Discs, and install them onto their Kendo Rangers, then unsheathe them to charge into battle the Aykasi, who promptly defeats the four rangers, capturing them in a forcefield.] USHIRO: Come out, Red Ranger! I have your fellow rangers. [The rangers struggle to break free of the forcefield. Ushiro then turns to the four trapped rangers.] If your precious Red Ranger does not come soon, you four will run out of air! [ushiro then laughs maniacally. Suddenly, the Red Ranger leaps in, and uses his Fire Striker to dissolve the forcefield.] RED KENDO RANGER: You want me...you got me...now, come get some! [The Red Ranger turns to the others.] You guys stay here...he's here for me. USHIRO: Gladly! [ushiro charges at the Red Ranger with his sword, and tries to perform his attack, but the Red Ranger counters with his Fire Striker.] RED KENDO RANGER: Nice try...but not good enough! USHIRO: Let's try that again...Dual Slash! [ushiro performs his sword attack, but this time, he strikes the Red Ranger, who collapses in a hail of smoke and sparks.] Gotcha! BLUE KENDO RANGER AND YELLOW KENDO RANGER: (recovering, and racing to the Red Ranger) No-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o! [The two rangers leap in, and meet the same fate at their comrade.] RED KENDO RANGER: Cody! Sierra! No-o-o! [The two rangers fall next to the Red Ranger. The Pink and Green Rangers go into action with their Kendo Razors, but are easily overpowered.] USHIRO: You pitiful rangers are a real piece of work. SANZU: So...you have been assigned to take out the Red Ranger...funny thing is...that's my job! USHIRO: Not according to Iod. SANZU: (as he draws his sword) Really!? [soon, the Red Ranger recovers, and is lured into a three-way battle with Sanzu and Ushiro. Soon, Ushiro notices that he is running out of power.] USHIRO: He's all yours for now, Sanzu...but, I will be back! [ushiro departs the surface world for Purgatory, and the recharging waters of the River Styx. Meanwhile, both Sanzu and the Red Ranger face each other.] RED KENDO RANGER: Let's see...where were we? SANZU: Just leaving, Red Ranger...but I too will be back. You have a prophecy to fulfill...mine! [sanzu departs the scene, leaving a very bewildered ranger team.] RED KENDO RANGER: (looking very concerned) I'll be ready...I hope. INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-NIGHT [The team tend to their wounds as Dimitri is sitting down, and deep in thought until he decides to get up.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: I gotta go clear my head! [Dimitri runs out of the base, and into the dark forest.] MEGAN NOIMI: Dimitri! Wait! Don't go! [Paolo comes into the room to see what is going on.] PAOLO NOIMI: Dimitri is going to the Bamboo Valley...to meditate and relive his past. MEGAN NOIMI: Meditate!? EDDIE CALLAHAN: His past? CODY EGAWA: Don't worry, Paolo... PAOLO NOIMI: I know...he'll be okay. SIERRA CROFT: (looking into the forest with concern) I hope so. EXT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-BEACH-NIGHT [The three initial villains walk on the beach, approaching Sanzu.] IOD: Sanzu better have a good explanation for going behind my back! CRUSTACEA: And if he doesn't? IOD: He will be destroyed for his treason. [The three villains continue to approach Sanzu. DIMITRI FEDOROV: Yeah...Paolo was just telling me that since we have the auxiliary Kendozords, they...can combine into a flying megazord. PAOLO NOIMI: The Aero Megazord. DIMITRI FEDOROV: Cody and I will handle the Marlin and Tiger. [Dimitri hands the Beetle Disc to Megan.] Megan, I want you to pilot the Beetle. [Eddie feels a bit left out as the team leaves the base.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: Paolo...why did Dimitri choose Megan for the Beetle instead of me? I can handle the Beetle! PAOLO NOIMI: Because...you don't have enough power to handle the Beetle. [Eddie runs outside, and away from the others, heading to the city park.] EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY [Eddie arrives in a private area to practice.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: I'll show them! [Eddie begins to practice.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [iod is very upset that Himidama failed. Soon, a blue Aykasi with a red head, comes aboard.] IOD: Oraku! I want you to attack the city with your acid rain. ORAKU: Those rangers won't know what hit them! IOD: Destroy them...or else! [Oraku departs the ship for the city as Iod drinks, and Crustacea plays her guitar.] EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY [Oraku arrives in the city with a small platoon of Kanizars. Oraku starts the rain, which causes the citizens to flee.] ORAKU: (laughing) Run, you puny humans...run! [Meanwhile, on the west side of the park, Eddie continues to practice. Eddie then stops practicing when his Kendo Cell rings.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: (answering the phone) Eddie here. voice of DIMITRI FEDOROV: Eddie...trouble in the park. An Aykasi is attacking. EDDIE CALLAHAN: (looking around) He must be on the east side of the park...regardless, I'm on my way! [Eddie quickly packs up his equipment, and leaves for the battle. Meanwhile, on the east side of the park, the rangers are battling Oraku. Soon, the Green Ranger leaps in with the Beetle Disc on his Kendo Razor.] GREEN KENDO RANGER: You're going down, clown! [The Green Ranger tries to spin the Beetle Disc on his Kendo Razor, but it doesn't work.] What!? [During the interruption, Oraku escapes. The rangers, especially the Green Ranger look down.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [The team recovers a bit, and plans on their next move. Meanwhile, an irate Paolo chews out Eddie.] PAOLO NOIMI: What were you thinking, Eddie! You do not possess the power necessary to use the Beetle Disc! EDDIE CALLAHAN: The others needed my help! I was only doing what I thought was right! MEGAN NOIMI: Stop it, you two! Arguing will not resolve anything. [sierra looks up.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Look...Paolo...why don't you take Eddie to Bamboo Valley, and teach him the true nature of the Orikami Power, and how to access it. PAOLO NOIMI: Excellent idea, Dimitri. Let's go, Eddie. INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [While Oraku recharges in the water outside, the four villains grow antsy.] IOD: Sanzu...do you have your grand plan ready, yet? SANZU: Just about. I need to go through some last minute details. IOD: This better go well. CRUSTACEA: Sanzu...what is your fascination with the Red Ranger? Personally, I find him, and all humans a bit repulsive. SANZU: Quiet, Crustacea...I used to be one of those humans you know. The Red Ranger is a remarkable swordsman...the best right now. I plan to de-throne him. Besides...there are other...circumstances. EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-BAMBOO VALLEY-DAY [Paolo trains Eddie in a small valley, surrounded by bamboo plants.] PAOLO NOIMI: In order to harness it's full power, you must combine your Orikami Power with your Elemental powers. But...this is dangerous...and can even be deadly. EDDIE CALLAHAN: I am ready, Paolo. [The Green Ranger suit "flash-forms" over Eddie's body. The training session is in progress. A minute or two later, the two are on equal terms.] GREEN KENDO RANGER: Green Wood Slash! [Eddie's elemental power shoots leaves out of his Kendo Razor, and the leaves slash through a bamboo plant.] Whoa! PAOLO NOIMI: And that...it your inner Orikami Power. [suddenly, the Green Ranger's Kendo Cell rings.] voice of DIMITRI FEDOROV: Eddie...Oraku is back in the city...we need you! GREEN KENDO RANGER: The others need me. PAOLO NOIMI: Go! [Paolo watches the Green Ranger depart the area.] EXT.-CITY-MIDTOWN-DAY [The four rangers are having problems with Oraku as he "shoves" the four to the ground as the Green Ranger arrives.] PINK KENDO RANGER: Eddie! [The Green Ranger opens his belt buckle to retrieve his Power Disc, and puts it onto the hilt of his Kendo Razor.] GREEN KENDO RANGER: (unsheathing his Kendo Razor) You're mine, Oraku! [The Green Ranger uses his weapon to battle Oraku. Soon, he removes the Power Disc, and opens his belt buckle to retrieve his Green Disc, and puts it on his weapon's hilt.] Nature Sword Power! [The Green Disc glows green as the Green Ranger spins it.] Green Wood Slash! [The blade of the Kendo Razor glows green as the Green Ranger charges at Oraku, and slices him. Oraku goes down.] OTHER RANGERS: Whoa! No, way! [suddenly, Oraku recovers and grows. The rangers remove their emblems from pouches on their belts, and kneel down to paint a symbol over it with their Kendo Cells.] ALL RANGERS: We Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami! [The Emblems grow, and envelop the other rangers as the Emblems transform into the Kendozords.] Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The five Kendozords join together to form their megazord mode.] ORAKU: One megazord is not enough to destroy me! RED KENDO RANGER: We'll see about that! ORAKU: I hate to rain on your parade... [Oraku makes it rain acid onto the megazord, which flails and sparks.] RED KENDO RANGER: Cody...Megan...time for "Plan B..." we need the Aero Megazord! PINK KENDO RANGER: (with the Beetle Disc) Wait, Dimitri...Eddie...this should be yours. Take it. GREEN KENDO RANGER: Thanks, Megan. RED KENDO RANGER: Okay then...girls, this megazord's all yours! [The three male Kendo Rangers all exit the megazord, and walk out onto the robot's chest. The three rangers install the appropriate Kendo Discs onto their Kendo Razors, and spin them to call forth the three auxiliary Kendozords.] GREEN KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Mountain! Beetle Kendozord, Go! BLUE KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Sea! Marlin Kendozord, Go! RED KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Jungle! Tiger Kendozord, Go! ALL THREE MALE RANGERS: Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The three auxiliary Kendozords all join together to form their megazord mode. The three male rangers all leap into the megazord's cockpit.] RED KENDO RANGER: Aero Megazord ALL THREE MALE RANGERS: Ready To Fly! [The Aero Megazord slowly moves away from the Kendo Megazord, as it recovers, and performs several high-flying maneuvers.] RED KENDO RANGER: Let's take care of him...once and for all! [The Aero Megazord performs a loop-de-loop, and comes downward to strike Oraku, then goes into the air again.] BOTH FEMALE RANGERS: Kendo Mega Saber! [The sword takes hold of it's sword, and prepares to execute it's finisher.] Divine Sword Slash! [The megazord uses it's sword to slice through Oraku.] RED KENDO RANGER: Our turn! ALL THREE MALE RANGERS: Dive Bomber! [The Aero Megazord swoops down, and flies right through the body of Oraku to decapitate him at the waist. The Aero Megazord then flies upward, and hovers over the Kendo Megazord as Oraku collapses, and explodes. The rangers celebrate in the cockpits (split-screen).] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-NIGHT [The team relaxes after a long, hard battle. Paolo notices that Dimitri is outside, and goes to him.] EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-NIGHT [Paolo approaches Dimitri.] PAOLO NOIMI: Dimitri...what's wrong? DIMITRI FEDOROV: I have a bad feeling, Paolo...I think Sanzu may be targeting me for some odd reason. PAOLO NOIMI: I do not know that for sure, Dimitri. Why don't you go inside and join the others. [Dimitri goes inside as Paolo rests his hands on a hand-rail. Suddenly, Nala Cali approaches.] You sense it too, Nala? NALA CALI: I do. Sanzu is coming for him. Does he know his place, yet? PAOLO NOIMI: He will know soon enough. I hope he is ready. ---------------------------------------------------------- NEXT TIME ON POWER RANGERS: KENDO WARRIORS... Episode #14: "Preemptive Strike (1)" Iod, general of the Stygian Syndicate summons a massive amount of Kanizars to attack the Orikami Village along with the Aykasi, Ushiro. His plan is to destroy Dimitri before he seals him away. Cody and the others must rally to defend their team leader from the oncoming threat. DIMITRI FEDOROV AND CODY EGAWA: (as they prepare their Kendo Cells, brush their symbols) Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform! [The Red Ranger and Blue Ranger suits "flash-form" over the duo, who then unsheathe their Kendo Razors.] Ready! [The two rangers spar with their primary weapons as the others watch.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [The four villains converse with each other.] IOD: Sanzu...I want to thank you for saving Crustacea from the rangers. SANZU: You are welcome, Iod...but, I only came to battle the Red Ranger. See...I have an interest in him for his swordsmanship abilities. I have plans to get rid of him. IOD: I see...make sure that you do not fail! [sanzu takes a knee, and bows before Iod, then leaves the ship as a red and black Aykasi boards.] HIMIDAMA: I am Himidama! I will take care of the rangers for you! OCTO: What are your abilities? HIMIDAMA: Mind control. CRUSTACEA: Excellent! IOD: Go to the city, and destroy the rangers! [Himidama departs the ship.] EXT.-CITY-DAY [Himidama arrives, and forces innocent citizens to flee.] HIMIDAMA: Come out, come out wherever you are, rangers! [Within seconds, the five Kendo Rangers leap in to face the new Aykasi.] Kanizars! [An army of Kanizars materialize out of every 'nuke-and-crany' near Himidama.] KENDO RANGERS: Kendo Razors! [The five rangers open their belt buckles to retrieve their Power Discs, and place them onto the hilts of the Kendo Razors, and unsheathe them to charge in to battle. Himidama first charges at the Green Ranger.] GREEN KENDO RANGER: (as he defends himself, using his Kendo Razor) Whoa! [The Blue Ranger notices that his commrade is in trouble, and leaps in to help him.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: Leave him alone! HIMIDAMA: That's okay...I got you... [Himidama raises his left arm, and moves his fingers mysteriously.] ...under my control! BLUE KENDO RANGER: (hypnotized) What is your command, master? HIMIDAMA: Destroy the Power Rangers! BLUE KENDO RANGER: (as he faces his fellow rangers) Yes, master! [The four remaining rangers turn to see their commrade under the control of Himidama.] PINK KENDO RANGER: Oh, no! RED KENDO RANGER: I'll handle the Aykasi...you guys get Cody back! PINK KENDO RANGER, GREEN KENDO RANGER, AND YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Right! RED KENDO RANGER: You're going down, Himidama! [The Red Ranger spins his Power Disc to transform his Kendo Razor into the Fire Striker.] Fire Striker! [The Red Ranger battles Himidama as the others battle the Blue Ranger, as he spins his Power Disc.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: Hydro Arrow! [The Blue Ranger opens his belt buckle to remove his Blue Disc, and places it onto the Hydro Arrow.] Hydro Cannon! Fire! [The Blue Ranger attacks the others by shooting arrows from the weapon.] HIMIDAMA: You pitiful rangers are in for a surprise! Spirit Of The Jungle! Tiger Kendozord, Go! EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY [Later that afternoon, Dimitri (with the others) calls out the Blue Ranger, who arrives with Himidama.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Come on, Cody...you and me in a duel! BLUE KENDO RANGER: You're on! [The Blue Ranger opens his belt buckle to retrieve his Power Disc, and places it onto the hilt of his Kendo Razor.] Kendo Razor! [The Red Ranger prepares his Kendo Razor, and swipes a streak of red in front of him, to morph. The Red Ranger suit "flash-forms" on him. [The Pink, Green, and Yellow Ranger suits "flash-form" over the trio, who then retrieve their Power Discs, and place thme onto the hilts of their Kendo Razors, then unsheathe them.] PINK KENDO RANGER: Bring it on, Himidama! [A mysterious human then arrives.] MYSTERY MAN: Don't worry for the Red Ranger...I'm sure he can defeat the Blue Ranger. [The mystery man then takes his leave, just as mysterious as he arrived. Meanwhile, the Red Ranger spins his Power Disc to transform his Kendo Razor into the Fire Striker.] RED KENDO RANGER: Fire Striker! I'm sorry, Cody...but this is the only way to bring you to your senses! [The Red Ranger opens his belt buckle to retrieve his Red Disc, and places it onto the Fire Striker. He then raises the massive weapon.] Magma Slicer! [The Red Ranger lowers the weapon to strike the Blue Ranger, who collapses, and de-morphs in some considerable pain.] CODY EGAWA: (painfully) Dimitri!? RED KENDO RANGER: I'm sorry, man...it's the only way to negate the Orikami Powers by force. You okay!? CODY EGAWA: I will be. Go...take care of that Aykasi, and get the tiger back! RED KENDO RANGER: Now...to get the Tiger Kendozord back on our side! HIMIDAMA: (seeing that the Blue Ranger is free) Spirit Of The Jungle! Tiger Kendozord, Go! The Red Ranger removes the emblem from a pouch on his belt, and kneels down to paint a symbol over it with his Kendo Cell.] RED KENDO RANGER: I Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami! [The Emblem grows, and envelops the Red Ranger as the Emblem transforms into the Lion Kendozord.] Spirit Of The Flame! Lion Kendozord, Go! Okay, let's go hunting for tiger! [The two Kendozords battle it out.] Grand Blaze! [The Lion Kendozord attacks the Tiger Kendozord to bring it under the rangers' control.] Yes! [Meanwhile, the other rangers are able to defeat Himidama, who then resurrects as a giant.] HIMIDAMA: You're in for it, now! [Cody has morphed (off-screen), and re-joins the others.] RED KENDO RANGER: Guys! Call for your zords! [The rangers remove their emblems from pouches on their belts, and kneel down to paint a symbol over it with their Kendo Cells.] THE OTHER FOUR RANGERS: We Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami! [The five Kendozords form their megazord mode.] Kendo Megazord, Ready! [The megazord stands ready against the large Aykasi. Meanwhile, the Tiger Kendozord decides to battle Himidama on it's own.] PINK KENDO RANGER: Look at the tiger go! [The Tiger Kendozord uses it's drills to attack, and overwhelm Himidama.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: Let's see if we can combine? RED KENDO RANGER: Excellent idea! Tiger Fusion! [The Tiger Kendozord forms new armor for the megazord.] ALL RANGERS: Kendo Megazord, Predator Mode! [The Kendo Megazord in Predator Mode gets ready to battle Himidama.] You're going down! Tiger Drill Attack! [The megazord charges through the opponent with all four of it's drills spinning to destroy the Aykasi.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: That'll teach you to mess with us! [Himidama collapses and explodes into a fireball as he is destroyed. The team celebrates a bit in the cockpit. EXT.-QUARRY-DAY [The rangers and Iod continue their battle. Soon, Iod uses his broadsword to single-handedly make the rangers collapse.] RED KENDO RANGER: (in some pain) Ah, come on! [On the ground, the five rangers try to recover, but Iod is stalking them at sword-point.] EXT.-RIO MESA-PARK-DAY [behind the bush, the two sleeping bullies wake up to face four Kanizars. BROCK: (looking petrified) Hey Brent...tell me...am I dreaming!? BRENT: (just as scared) No...am I dreaming? [The two bullies get up in a hurry, and run away screaming. The four Kanizars scratch their heads like they are confused.] EXT.-QUARRY-DAY [The rangers soon recover, and try to battle again.] IOD: You pesky Power Pukes judt don't get it! You'll never be like the Ancient Warriors! [iod promptly uses his firepower to "kick the rangers to the curb."] PINK KENDO RANGER: Guys! Let's call on our Orikami Spirits! [The five take out their Orikami Emblems, and hold them outward.] ALL RANGERS: We summon the spirits of the Orikami! RED KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Lion, Go! BLUE KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Dragon, Go! PINK KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Turtle, Go! GREEN KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Bear, Go! YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Monkey, Go! [The Emblems transform into Animal Mode, and start attacking Iod until the rangers can recover.] RED KENDO RANGER: Fire Striker! Cannon Mode! [As the Red Ranger places the Beetle Disc onto the weapon, the four other rangers place their discs onto the cannon, as does the Red Ranger. The five discs sit on top of the weapon (from front to back...red, blue, pink, green, yellow).] ALL RANGERS: Kendo Magma Flow! [The Red Ranger fires the cannon, releasing each of the five Kendo Discs with a powerful laser...Iod goes down.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [Octo and Crustacea grow increasingly concerned for their leader.] OCTO: Oh, I hope Iod is okay! [iod vanishes, leaving a cockpit full of confused rangers.] EXT.-RIO MESA-PARK-DAY [Later that evening, the two bullies are still running out of the park. They muster up enough courage to look back. There are no Kanizars chasing them, so they stop running.] BROCK: Hey! Where'd they go!? BRENT: I don't know...why don't we head back. [The two bullies head back to the area where they were before.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [The three villains are happy to see Iod return...and boy is he angry!] IOD: Sanzu...you're up next! And Crustacea...you are going with him! [Crustacea looks petrified as she and Sanzu will be facing the rangers next.] Those rangers will pay for their insolence! EXT.-RIO MESA-PARK-DAY [upon arrival, they see their schoolmates practicing with the dowel rods.] BROCK: Hey...what happened here a little while ago? DIMITRI FEDOROV: Nothing happened, guys. MEGAN NOIMI: We've been here the entire time practicing. BRENT: You mean...there wasn't a monster attack!? SIERRA CROFT: Well...we all had a tough week at school... SANZU: Ibizars, attack! [An army of Ibizars materialize to provide cover for Sanzu and Crustacea as they escape. The five rangers then take out their Emblems, and put them onto the ground. [After the cannon is fired, the Red Ranger quickly removes the Beetle Disc so the Blue Ranger can install the Marlin Disc onto the weapon.] Kendo Fishing Cast! [The weapon fires another blast at the five Aykasi, who flail and spark, then grow. The five rangers then take out their Emblems, and put them onto the ground. The two rangers open their belt buckles to retrieve the Green Disc and the Yellow Disc, then put them onto their weapons.] GREEN KENDO RANGER: Spinning Spear! [The Green Ranger spins with his spear, and slices Zuboshi.] YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Seismic Strike! [The Yellow Ranger throws her weapon, which slices through Zuboshi.] Now who's the weak one!? [Meanwhile, the other three soon defeat the Kanizars by using their Kendo Razors and elemental attacks, then go to help the Green and Yellow Rangers battle Zuboshi.] RED KENDO RANGER: Fire Striker! [The Red Ranger transforms his Kendo Razor into his secondary weapon, then opens his belt buckle to retrieve the Beetle Disc.] Cannon Mode! [The four other rangers place their discs onto the cannon, as does the Red Ranger. The five discs sit on top of the weapon (from front to back...red, blue, pink, green, yellow).] ALL RANGERS: Kendo Magma Flow! [The Red Ranger fires the cannon, releasing each of the five Kendo Discs with a powerful laser blast, and Zuboshi collapses. The team celebrates, but the Aykasi grows.] [Zuboshi grows into his giant form prompting the rangers to kneel down with their Orikami Emblems, and drawing a symbol with their Kendo Cells.] ALL RANGERS: We Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami! [The Emblems grow, and envelop the rangers.] Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The five Kendozords join together to form their megazord formation.] Kendo Megazord, Ready! [The megazord uses it's sword and shield to battle Zuboshi, but the Aykasi uses his flexible body to deflect the attacks. The Red Ranger uses his Beetle Disc to summon the Beetle Kendozord.] RED KENDO RANGER: Spirit Of The Mountain! Beetle Kendozord, Go! [With the command, the Beetle Kendozord appears, and uses it's abilities to attack Zuboshi, who sparks and flails.] Beetle Fusion! [The sides of the helmet close up so the head can spin around to attack Zuboshi, who cackles with blue lightning bolts, then collapses into a fireball. One boy (Austin) goes to get a baseball that rolled over towards a sewer vent. At the vent, he sees Tygross' eyes glowing, and gets a bit scared.] TYGROSS: Don't be scarred, I'm a friend! [Austin seems a bit eased.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [As the team relaxes a bit, the alarms ring out alerting the team to a Stygian or Aykasi appearance in the city. The five jump into action.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Trouble in the city! Let's go, guys! EXT.-CITY-ALLEY-DAY [Tygross emerges from the vent, and talks to the boy.] TYGROSS: My name is Tygross...what's yours? AUSTIN: (while clutching a pouch) Austin. TYGROSS: (noticing the pouch) What's that you got there!? AUSTIN: A pouch that my grandfather gave me before he died. RED KENDO RANGER: (leaping in to slice with his Kendo Razor) Hey! Ugly! TYGROSS: A Power Ranger! [Tygross gives the Red Ranger some of his own power to send him to the ground. The Blue and Green Rangers leap in to slice Tygross with their blades, and the girls protect Austin. Seeing their need to help out, the girls ready their Kendo Razors.] YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Get to safety! [The boy flees the area as the Yellow and Pink Rangers leap in to help the guys.] TYGROSS: Bamboo Spear! [Tygross uses his spear to make the rangers spark.] You can't catch this tiger by the tail! [Tygross retreats back into the sewer vent, and the rangers relax.] EXT.-CITY-PARK-BALLFIELD-DAY [Later in the day, the boy gets ready to leave the field while carrying his equipment, and walking his bicycle. It looks like he had a rough practice. Cody and Megan then intercept him.] CODY EGAWA: Hey...I heard that you had a encounter with a monster? AUSTIN: Yeah...it was nothing. MEGAN NOIMI: We were told that you spoke with him? It's clear that you were shaken by what he said. AUSTIN: Look...you two are strangers, and I shouldn't be talking to you...I gotta go! [Austin gets on his bicycle, and pedals for home leaving the two a bit discouraged.] EXT.-CITY-APARTMENT BUILDING-DAY [The boy arrives home, and parks the bike before locking it up. He then goes inside his apartment.] MEGAN NOIMI: There's his place. CODY EGAWA: What'll we do now? MEGAN NOIMI: We wait. We have to see why he was talking to the Aykasi. [Austin then comes outside to swing a baseball bat around a bit. It makes Cody think about his childhood...he climbs up a playground slide, and onto the landing. He then slides down the slide.] I'll go make us some dinner...I have a feeling that it's gonna be a long night. INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-MESS HUT-NIGHT [The remaining team members watches as Megan and a Orikami Warrior cook dinner. Megan then tries to cut a thick squash open with a common knife, but has a hard time. She then pulls out her Kendo Razor to slice and dice the gourd open...the slices plop into the stewing pot, and gives a thumbs up.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: Well...that's one way to slice a squash! EXT.-CITY-APARTMENT BUILDING-NIGHT [Megan returns to the stakeout with some soup for her and Cody to eat for dinner.] EXT.-CITY-APARTMENT BUILDING-DAY [Cody and Megan wake up bundled into a pink blanket. They also hear Austin leaving his apartment on foot.] MEGAN NOIMI: Cody...he's leaving! CODY EGAWA: Let's go! [The two depart the apartment complex to follow Austin.] EXT.-CITY-DAY [Cody and Megan continue to trail Austin, who throws his baseball equipment into a garbage can, and continues to run off.] MEGAN NOIMI: Cody! Look! CODY EGAWA: (seeing Austin climb a tree) Oh, no! MEGAN NOIMI: What!? CODY EGAWA: Look in the tree! [The two see Austin getting ready to jump out of the tree in front of Tygross. Cody and Megan try to prevent Austin from jumping when Tygross' spear almost decapitates Cody.] Whoa! That was too close! [Austin jumps out of the tree, and lies limp on the ground with a bloody knee.] TYGROSS: See! I was able to make you cry somehow! MEGAN NOIMI: (as she and Cody check on Austin) How dare you! [Cody gets up, and stares down Tygross. Soon, Megan joins him.] CODY EGAWA AND MEGAN NOIMI: (as they prepare their Kendo Cells, and draw their symbols) Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform! [The suits "flash-form" over the duo.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: (posing) Spirit Of Water! Blue Kendo Ranger! PINK KENDO RANGER: (posing) Spirit Of Air! Pink Kendo Ranger! [The two Kendo Rangers battle Tygross, who uses his attacks as the other three rangers arrive.] TYGROSS: The rest of the party has arrived! Kanizars...attack! [An army of Kanizar soldiers ooze up through every crack in the ground (even from under leaves), then charges at the quintet.] RED KENDO RANGER: Fire Striker! GREEN KENDO RANGER: Wood Spear! YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Geo Slicer! [The three reach into their belt buckles to grab their Kendo Discs, and place them onto their weapons to use on the Kanizars.] TYGROSS: Tiger Wave! [Tygross tries his attack on the Blue and Pink Rangers, but they dodge it.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: Hydro Arrow! PINK KENDO RANGER: Aero Fan! [The two use their personal Kendo Discs to power their weapons.] TYGROSS: Tiger Wave! [The Blue and Pink Rangers use their weapons to deflect the second attack, and make Tygross cackle in blue lightning bolts. Tygross explodes, but grows.] BLUE KENDO RANGER AND PINK KENDO RANGER: (kneeling and putting their Emblems down on the ground, then draw out the symbol) We Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami! [The two rangers enter their now giant Kendozords, and convert to Animal Mode.] TYGROSS: Ah! A dragon and a turtle are no match for a tiger! [Tygross blasts the two Kendozords, but the Blue Ranger counters.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: Let's see how you handle my Dragon Burst! PINK KENDO RANGER: Emblem Mode! [The Turtle Kendozord converts, and has the Dragon pick her up.] Bombs away! [The Dragon releases the Turtle, and drops it onto Tygross' head.] TYGROSS: Ow! That hurt! RED KENDO RANGER: Let's bring them together! ALL RANGERS: Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The five Kendozords combine to form it's megazord mode. Kendo Megazord, Ready! [Tygross and the Megazord stand ready to battle, sword to spear. In a few fast moves, Tygross is able to knock the Kendo Mega Saber from the megazord's hand.] TYGROSS: Gotcha! BLUE KENDO RANGER: Think again! Dragon Rocket Jump! [The megazord uses the Dragon's leg to jump high into the air.] PINK KENDO RANGER: Turtle Power Punch! [The Turtle is released from the megazord, and hits Tygross with multiple punches before re-uniting with the megazord so it can regain it's sword.] RED KENDO RANGER: This is for Austin! Kendo Mega Saber! ALL RANGERS: Divine Sword Slash! [The rangers power up the sword, and perorms it's finisher to destroy Tygross once and for all. The team celebrates in the cockpit.] Yes! EXT.,-CITY-PARK-BALLFIELD-DAY [Austin cheers on h is team during a game.] AUSTIN: Coach...I'm sorry for the way I acted yesterday. COACH REESE: It's okay, Austin...we all have our bad days. DIMITRI FEDOROV: See, I knew everything would work out. CODY EGAWA: Speaking of things working out...Megan...I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date? MEGAN NOIMI: Sorry, Cody...I don't. [Cody looks a bit saddened.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: Ah, cheer up, Cody...there's plenty of other girls out there. [Cody still looks saddened as the team begins to depart the ballfield area.] CODY EGAWA: But...! [Cody then rushes to catch up to his teammates.] MEGAN NOIMI: (turning around to talk to Cody) At least...not right now. [The others, except for Dimitri (who is pouring over a red piece of paper) agree.] MEGAN NOIMI: Dimitri...is that something my father gave to you? DIMITRI FEDOROV: Yeah...he wants me to study it...I don't know why. [Dimitri gives the paper to Megan.] MEGAN NOIMI: Ah...this is the ancient Beetle Disc. With it, comes new powers and a new Kendozord. DIMITRI FEDOROV: Well, he wants me to practice with it at the base tomorrow afternoon...so I can't go to the fair with you guys. INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-DAY [The three villains wait for the latest Aykasi to come aboard the ship...Yanasu. A warrior in a green outfit with red hair all over.] IOD: (angered) Yanasu! I want you to go and destroy those pesky power punks once and for all! YANASU: Right away, sire! [Yanasu departs the ship.] EXT.-CITY-FAIRGROUNDS-DAY [The four team members enjoy the county fair...of course, Eddie hits the arcade.] EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [Dimitri arrives, and enters the base.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [Dimitri approaches the main room to meet Paolo.] PAOLO NOIMI: Greetings, Dimitri...are you prepared for the power of the Beetle Disc? DIMITRI FEDOROV: As ready as I'll ever be. PAOLO NOIMI: Very well...let's go inside. DIMITRI FEDOROV: (puzzled) But, we are already inside. [Paolo slides open a secret door panel to reveal a hidden room.] Ah, I get it...a secret room! [Paolo steps to the other side of a table decorated with a red cloth. On top of the table is a black box. Paolo presents the box to Dimitri, who then opens it to reveal a tan, velvety cloth. Dimitri then opens the cloth up to reveal the orangish-brown colored Beetle Disc.] PAOLO NOIMI: That, Dimitri, is the Beetle Disc. In order to harness it's full power, you must combine your Orikami Power with your Elemental powers. But...this is dangerous...and can even be deadly. DIMITRI FEDOROV: I am ready, Paolo. EXT.-CITY-FAIRGROUNDS-DAY [The four team members continue to enjoy all the trappings of the county fair...until a roar of screams alerts them to an Aykasi causing all sorts of commotion...the four run to see the Aykasi that is creating the problem.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: Hey! Hairball! YANASU: I am Yanasu...your worst nightmare! How dare you pitiful humans mock me! MEGAN NOIMI: We're no ordinary humans! Come on guys! [The four prepare their morphers, and draw their respective symbols in the air in front of them.] ALL: (as they touch their brushes to the symbols) Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform! [The suits "flash-form" over the four.] ALL RANGERS: Kendo Razors! [The four rangers open their belt buckles to retrieve their Power Discs, and slip them over the hilts of their swords, then unsheathe them to use against Yanasu.] YANASU: Oh, so you are the great Power Rangers! Well, come get me! [Yanasu just stands in one spot as the four rangers charge and slice him, but Yanasu is able to contort his body so the attacks phase through him. Yanasu laughs it the four rangers.] You four are pitiful! Here, say hello to by little friend! [Yanasu whips out a blaster, and fires the weapon at the four rangers, who collapse as the Red Ranger arrives.] RED KENDO RANGER: (posing) I don't think so! Spirit Of Fire! Red Kendo Ranger! YANASU: I don't have time to face you right now! Toot-a-loo! [Yanasu retreats as the rangers approach the Red Ranger.] RED KENDO RANGER: Yeah...run away like a coward. I'll be ready for you next time! EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-NIGHT [That night, Dimitri is unmorphed, working on perfecting his skills with the Beetle Disc-powered Kendo Razor. The extensive workout nearly over-exhausts Dimitri, which worries a watching Paolo.] EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY [Yanasu re-appears in the park, and the rangers (sans the Red Ranger) leap in to battle him.] PINK KENDO RANGER: Let's take him down, guys! [The four rangers use their Kendo Razors on Yanasu, but like last time, he uses his flexibility to deflect the attacks. Before long, Dimitri arrives, and puts himself between the other rangers and Yanasu.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Yanasu! I challenge you to a one on one duel! YANASU: Bring it! [Dimitri "insta-morphs" into the Red Ranger, then he opens his belt buckle to reveal the orangish-brown Beetle Disc, and places it onto his Kendo Razor's hilt.] RED KENDO RANGER: You're mine, Yanasu! YANASU: You'll just end up like your friends, Red Ranger! RED KENDO RANGER: We'll see about that! [The Red Ranger unsheathes his Kendo Razor, and gets ready to battle the Aykasi. Both sides charge each other, and the Red Ranger then slices and dices the Aykasi, who pulls back a bit.] YANASU: You're good, Red Ranger...but not good enough! RED KENDO RANGER: I'm just getting started! [The Red Ranger removes the Beetle Disc from the Kendo Ranger. He then opens the belt buckle, and retrieves the Power Disc to put onto the sword, then transforms it into the Fire Striker.] Fire Striker! [The Red Ranger places the Beetle Disc onto the Fire Striker, which converts it into a blaster.] Cannon Mode! Guys! Load your personal Kendo Discs onto the top! [The four other rangers place their discs onto the cannon, as does the Red Ranger. The five discs sit on top of the weapon (from front to back...red, blue, pink, green, yellow).] ALL RANGERS: Kendo Magma Flow! [The Red Ranger fires the cannon, releasing each of the five Kendo Discs with a powerful laser, and Yanasu collapses. The team celebrates.] RED KENDO RANGER: He's not done yet! [Yanasu grows into his giant form prompting the rangers to kneel down with their Orikami Emblems, and drawing a symbol with their Kendo Cells.] ALL RANGERS: We Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami! [The Emblems grow, and envelop the rangers.] Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The five Kendozords join together to form their megazord formation.] Kendo Megazord, Ready! [The megazord uses it's sword and shield to battle Yanasu, but the Aykasi uses his flexible body to deflect the attacks. YANASU: Your megazord does not have the power it takes to defeat me! RED KENDO RANGER: Oh, really!? [The Red Ranger uses his Beetle Disc to summon the Beetle Kendozord.] Spirit Of The Mountain! Beetle Kendozord, Go! [With the command, the Beetle Kendozord appears, and uses it's abilities to attack Yanasu, who sparks and flails.] YANASU: Now you ticked me off! Ibizars! [An army of a half-dozen Ibizars materialize from the cracks of some buildings to battle the megazord, which sparks and flails.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: Not good! YELLOW KENDO RANGER: They're getting the best of us! GREEN KENDO RANGER: Hey, Dimitri...can we combine with that thing? RED KENDO RANGER: I believe so...Beetle Fusion! [The Beetle Kendozord forms onto the megazord giving it a new helmet and armor.] ALL RANGERS: Kendo Megazord, Land Mode! RED KENDO RANGER: Beetle Cannon! [The megazord uses the dozens of cannons on the Beetle Kendozord to fire lasers at Yanasu, who sparks and flails a bit before recovering.] YANASU: That wasn't so bad! ALL RANGERS: Kendo Megazord! RED KENDO RANGER: Spin Attack! [The sides of the helmet close up so the head can spin around to attack Yanasu, who cackles with blue lightning bolts, then collapses into a fireball. The rangers all celebrate in the cockpit.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-NIGHT [After the battle, a very exhausted Dimitri is helped into the base by his teammates. Once inside, Paolo helps him onto a bed to recover.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: That really took a lot out of me! PAOLO NOIMI: I know. The auxiliary Kendozords do utilize an enormous amount of energy...and you all need to be ready. [Paolo leaves the room for a bit.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-NIGHT [The trio of Stygians are upset as usual as another one of their Aykasi warriors was just defeated.] IOD: What...is it gonna take...to defeat those rangers! INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-NIGHT [The team continues to watch over their team leader as he recovers.] CODY EGAWA: (with some worry, not knowing that Paolo is watching) I have a feeling that I am the next one to control an auxiliary Kendozord. [Paolo secretly looks on with some concern.]

Soon, the five ancient warriors arrive.] RED WARRIOR: Hey, crab-heads! [The Kanizars turn to face the quintet.] ALL ANCIENT WARRIORS: Transform! [A bright light envelops the quintet as they morph. The suits "flash-form" over their bodies. The quintet quickly defeat the Kanizars, and they collapse and cackle in light blue lightning bolts before exploding.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [The unmorphed team learns to draw the symbols necessary to activate their equipment.] PAOLO NOIMI: Now...there is a way for you to combine your Kendozords. Like the symbols that you draw to morph, there are some to use while in battle. [Paolo inspects the symbol drawings of the team, then moves towards Eddie to see his drawing. On Eddie's easel is a drawing of a picture.] Edouard! EDDIE CALLAHAN: (trying to explain himself) Sensei! I...I... PAOLO NOIMI: Your assignment was to draw symbols...not...some picture. [Paolo turns away from Eddie to talk to everyone.] Rangers...these symbols will help you in defeating the Stygians. [Eddie secretly takes Bear Orikami out of his pocket in Emblem Mode, and activates it's Animal Mode to make it attack Paolo's shin. Soon, the Dragon Orikami gets after Bear Orikami.] CODY EGAWA: Eddie! We got to do this! [The other teens try to cheer up Eddie.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [The evil trio discuss the rangers.] IOD: So...these rangers are gonna be a thorne in our sides. I have a plan...Stinger! [soon, outside, an Aykasi rises from the river, and enters the ship.] STINGER: I am here, Lord Iod! IOD: Go to the surface world and stir up some trouble! STINGER: I heard you say rangers!? IOD: Yes...destroy them! STINGER: Anything for the Stygians! [stinger departs the ship.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [Eddie and Cody talk.] CODY EGAWA: Eddie...what is wrong. EDDIE CALLAHAN: I don't know...if I can be a ranger. CODY EGAWA: But, Eddie...you are the Green Kendo Ranger! EDDIE CALLAHAN: You don't get it! I don't trust my abilities. My destiny to become a ranger is a mistake. [Eddie hands his Kendo Cell to Cody as he tries to accept Eddie's words.] CODY EGAWA: Eddie...you know I can't accept this. [suddenly, Megan rushes into the base.] MEGAN NOIMI: Hey...have you guys seen Sierra? CODY EGAWA: No...but I can track her Kendo Cell on mine. [Cody grabs his morpher, and opens it up. On the screen, it depicts Sierra's location in relation to Cody's.] She's just outside of the village. [The three (Cody, Megan, and Eddie) leave the base.] EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-DAY [Cody, Megan, and Eddie all look for Sierra. Soon, they locate her. Sierra is practicing "sword chops" with a long wooden stick.] MEGAN NOIMI: Sierra, we were wondering about you. SIERRA CROFT: Oh, I just wanted to go off on my own to practice...and...think about my sister. CODY EGAWA: Your sister!? I thought you were an only child? SIERRA CROFT: (sadly) She was adopted. I...always wondered where she is...what and how she is doing. [Cody and Eddie get a bit emotional as well. the two of them and Megan all hug Sierra.] MEGAN NOIMI: If she knew what you were doing, I know she would be proud. CODY EGAWA: Do you know her first name, and the family name of where she went to? SIERRA CROFT: Her first name is Dakota. She went to the Sullivan Family. MEGAN NOIMI: Come on...we better head back. EXT.-CITY-DAY [At a soda machine, a citizen purchases a can of soda, and walks away. Seconds later, Stinger and an army of Kanizars emerge from the bottom of the machine, and head deeper into the city.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-DAY [Cody, Megan, Eddie, and Sierra all return to the base, only to find the warning system sounding. Paolo enters to check the system, soon followed by Dimitri.] PAOLO NOIMI: There is trouble in the city. This warning system detects members of the Stygian Syndicate. MEGAN NOIMI: We better get going. [The five teens depart the forest.] EXT.-CITY-DAY [stinger uses his tail to whip buildings. Citizens dodge falling debris as they flee the area in fear as the Kanizars try to prevent them from leaving. Soon, the Lion Orikami Spirit arrives, and attacks the Aykasi. Soon, the five teens arrive, and Lion returns to Dimitri's hand in Emblem Mode. Stinger then turns to see the five teens.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: (as the five teens prepare their Kendo Cells) Ready guys!? ALL: (posing) Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform! [The suits "fully-form" over the quintet.] RED KENDO RANGER: (posing) Spirit Of Fire! Red Kendo Ranger! BLUE KENDO RANGER: (posing) Spirit Of Water! Blue Kendo Ranger! PINK KENDO RANGER: (posing) Spirit Of Air! Pink Kendo Ranger! GREEN KENDO RANGER: (posing) Spirit Of Wood! Green Kendo Ranger! YELLOW KENDO RANGER: (posing) Spirit Of Earth! Yellow Kendo Ranger! ALL RANGERS: (posing) We Are The Protectors Of Earth! Power Rangers: Kendo Warriors, hya! [The five rangers open their belt buckles, and grab their black Kendo Discs, and install them onto their Kendo Razors.] STINGER: Kanizars! Attack! ALL RANGERS: Kendo Razors! [The Kanizars charge in, and attack the rangers, who battle them with their Kendo Razors. The five rangers spin their black Kendo Discs to transform their swords into their secondary weapons. The five then reach into their belt buckles, and pull out their colored Kendo Discs, and install them onto the weapons.] BLUE KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Hydro Arrow! PINK KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Aero Fan! GREEN KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Wood Spear! RED KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Fire Striker! [The rangers use their weapons against the Kanizars, but before the Yellow Ranger can call upon hers, the Red Ranger notices Stinger walking away as an explosion is heard. Stinger and the Red Ranger duel with their weapons. The Red Ranger slices Stinger, making some of his scaly armor come off. The Yellow Ranger continues to battle the Kanizars with her Geo Slicer (called off-screen). When the Yellow Ranger spins her weapon at the six Kanizars, not only does she take them out, but she nearly decapitates the Red Ranger, but he dodges.] YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Oops! Sorry, Dimitri! [stinger then sends the Red Ranger up, and into a second story wall of a building, and falls to the ground as his Fire Striker reverts to it's Kendo Razor form, and sticks into the ground. The Yellow Ranger races to check on the Red Ranger as Stinger begins to attack.] PINK KENDO RANGER: Sierra! Dimitri! Watch out! [stinger whips his tail around, and whips all the rangers, except for the Red Ranger. The four are caught in a fireball. Stinger then walks off, leaving the four on the ground, struggling to recover as they are forced out of morph.] RED KENDO RANGER: Oh, no! [The Red Ranger struggles to recover, and checks on his teammates.] You guys okay!? EDDIE CALLAHAN: Man! That hurt more than a quarterback sack! RED KENDO RANGER: Come on! [Without regard to his teammates, the Red Ranger moves in pain towards his Kendo Razor, and retrieves it, then heads off to face Stinger some more.] Come on...we better get going. [The four teenagers get up, and start walking toward where the Red Ranger is battling Stinger. When they arrive, they see Stinger getting ready to whip the Red Ranger into shape.] ALL (EXCEPT THE RED RANGER): (as they prepare their morphers) Transform! [The suits "flash-form" over the quartet. They immediately utilize their Kendo Razors to deflect the attack.] RED KENDO RANGER: Let's finish him! [The five reach into their belt buckles, and pull out their colored Kendo Discs, and install them onto the weapons.] RED KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Fire Striker! BLUE KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Hydro Arrow! PINK KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Aero Fan! GREEN KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Wood Spear! YELLOW KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Geo Slicer! ALL RANGERS: Power Of The Orikami! [The quintet rush Stinger with their Kendo Razors, who then explodes. The team has a brief second or two to rest before Stinger revives and grows.] We Summon The Spirits Of The Orikami! [The small Orikami Spirits grow into giant Kendozords. During the transformation, the rangers are enveloped in their zords. In their individual cockpits, the rangers remove their black Kendo Discs, and install them onto the Kendo Razors, and insert the weapons (blade down) into their control panels.] RED KENDO RANGER: (as he places his hand over the hilt of the Kendo Razor) Spirit Of The Flame! Lion Kendozord, Go! BLUE KENDO RANGER: (as he places his hand over the hilt of the Kendo Razor) Spirit Of The Water! Dragon Kendozord, Go! PINK KENDO RANGER: (as she places his hand over the hilt of the Kendo Razor) Spirit Of The Sky! Turtle Kendozord, Go! GREEN KENDO RANGER: (as he places his hand over the hilt of the Kendo Razor) Spirit Of The Woods! Bear Kendozord, Go! YELLOW KENDO RANGER: (as she places his hand over the hilt of the Kendo Razor) Spirit Of The Land! Monkey Kendozord, Go! ALL RANGERS: Kendozords, Power Up! [After battling Stinger in the individual Kendozords, the command goes out to combine as the Red Ranger draws out the symbol.] ALL RANGERS: Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The five Kendozords all combine into their megazord formation.] Kendo Megazord, Ready! [The megazord unsheathes it's sword as Stinger charges. Stinger uses his sword to pierce the ground, then slices a building while the megazord ducks.] GREEN KENDO RANGER: That was close! [The megazord moves into position where it can attack Stinger, but he calls upon several Ibizars. The Ibizars chain up the megazord, and try to electrocute it.] RED KENDO RANGER: Flame Thrower! [The Lion Kendozord's head, on the chest of the megazord sends out a line of fire to incinerate the Ibizars, and destroy them.] ALL RANGERS: Divine Sword Slash! [The rangers remove their Kendo Razors from the control stands, and the quintet power them up, and slice the air. the power from the move makes Stinger collapse with red, blue, pink, green, and yellow plumes of smoke, then explodes. The megazord poses victoriously as it puts it's sword away, as do the rangers. A bit later, the unmorphed rangers celebrate on the ground.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [The three villains are angry.] OCTO: Sir...I'm afraid that the rangers defeated Stinger. [Crustacea serves Iod a drink...he takes a large gulp.] IOD: I know. He soon waltzes outside to join the others.] MEGAN NOIMI: Look who finally crawled out of bed! DIMITRI FEDOROV: Eddie...you were told by Paolo to be awake by a certain time. EDDIE CALLAHAN: Hey, Dimitri...some of us are having a tough time getting used to being rangers, so back off! [Eddie leaves the village for the city.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [On the ship, Octo and Crustacea talk with Iod.] OCTO: Sir, how are we gonna combat the rangers? CRUSTACEA: Yes...they are even more bothersome than the ancient ones! ROKAI: (coming aboard the ship) I'll volunteer my services, Lord Iod! IOD: (as he throws a Kanizar against a wall) You'd better...or else you'll end up like him! ROKAI: Ah, battling those rangers will be like a walk in the park! CRUSTACEA: (throwing a dagger towards the Aykasi) Rokai! From what we have seen so far, those are Power Rangers...emphasis on the word "power!" IOD: Yes...and YOU will be the one facing all five of them, and their zords. [Rokai looks like he doesn't know what he got himself into, but follows his orders, and departs for the city.] EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [Dimitri is sitting around, playing with his Lion Orikami Spirit when Paolo enters the area.] PAOLO NOIMI: Dimitri...have you seen Eddie? I would like to speak with him. EXT.-CITY-PARK-DAY [Eddie is playing a quick pick-up game of football with two friends.] EXT.-CITY-OUTDOOR CAFE-DAY [Eddie and his friends then stop at a cafe for lunch, where they talk. Meanwhile, Rokai rises from a sidewalk crack under a bench, and attacks citizens with his Stretching Arms.] FRIEND #1: Eddie! Look! EDDIE CALLAHAN: (as he gets up from the table) Oh, no! FRIEND #2: What's going on, Eddie!? EDDIE CALLAHAN: A monster attack! [Eddie rushes toward Rokai, and gets out his Kendo Cell, and prepares it for morphing...he begins to draw out his green symbol in mid-air.] Spirits Of The Orikami! [Eddie then touches the backward symbol to turn it around, and presses the button to fully morph.] Transform! [The Green Kendo Ranger suit "fully-forms" over Eddie's body, much to the surprise and shock of his two friends. During the battle, Rokai uses his Stretching Arms to punch the Green Ranger (who now has his Kendo Razor out) down to the ground.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-BASE-DAY [Later, Cody and a Orikami Warrior bandage Eddie up while Paolo lectures him.] PAOLO NOIMI: You let civilians see you morph!? And they are friends of yours!? EDDIE CALLAHAN: Yes...and now they are in the hospital...all because of me. DIMITRI FEDOROV: (as he notices the others are a bit down) Ah, cheer up, guys...we all make mistakes now and then. EDDIE CALLAHAN: Yeah...but innocent civilians ended up in the hospital...because of my ignorance! [Eddie runs off again.] EXT.-CITY-HOSPITAL-DAY [Eddie arrives, and looks up at a window, presumably where his two friends are. Angered, Eddie walks away while kicking a soda can around.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [As Rokai recharges in the waters of the River Styx, Octo pokes at something else in the water with a long stick. Iod then checks up on the two.] IOD: Recharge, then finish the job, Rokai! INT.-CITY-ARCADE-NIGHT [Eddie is in a private gaming booth, playing Pac-Man on a hand-held device. He remembers the previous battle with Rokai. While taking a break, Eddie sees that the colored dots on the game correspond with the rangers colors. Eddie then runs out of the booth.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: I got to do this! EXT.-CITY-PIER-NIGHT [Eddie uses a stick to practice his sword moves for a while.] EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY [The next day, Rokai and a bunch of Kanizars attack innocent citizens. Rokai then gives a bunch of the citizens a big hug.] ROKAI: Come here so I can give you a big hug! [The hugged people all collapse, as their energy is absorbed into Rokai. Within seconds, the team (sans Eddie) arrives.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Leave them alone! ROKAI: Who says!? DIMITRI FEDOROV: (as the quartet brandishes their Kendo Cells) We do! ALL: Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform! [The four team members draw out their colored symbols, and press the button to turn the symbol around. The suits "flash-form" over their bodies. The team then poses with their Kendo Razors. Soon, both sides prepare to engage one another in battle.] ROKAI: So, you pathetic losers are the Power Rangers! I thought there were five of you? [Eddie then leaps in, and joins his fellow rangers.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: There are! [Eddie gets out his Kendo Cell, and prepares it for morphing...he begins to draw out his green symbol in mid-air.] Spirits Of The Orikami! [Eddie then touches the backward symbol to turn it around, and presses the button to fully morph.] Transform! [As Rokai sends in the Kanizars, the other rangers reach into their belt buckles to retrieve their colored discs, and install them onto the hilts of their Kendo Razors.] RED KENDO RANGER: Fire Sword! BLUE KENDO RANGER: Water Flow Sword! PINK KENDO RANGER: Sky Sword! YELLOW KENDO RANGER: Rock Sword! [The four rangers defeat the Kanizars with the Nature Sword attacks as the Green Ranger continues to battle Rokai.] ROKAI: Stretching Arms! GREEN KENDO RANGER: Whoa! [The Green Ranger tries to out-run Rokai's arms, which easily takes out a car. The Red Ranger tries to help the Green Ranger out, but he gets punched too!] RED KENDO RANGER: Go get him, Eddie! I'll be okay! GREEN KENDO RANGER: Gotta concentrate! [The Green Ranger continues to run circles around Rokai, then leaps over the Aykasi, who punches himself, then gets Rokai all tied up...literally! The Green Ranger then reaches into his belt buckle, and retrieves his Green Disc, and puts it onto the hilt of his Kendo Razor.] Wood Sword! [The Green Ranger uses his Nature Sword attack to defeat Rokai, as the Red Ranger recovers. The other three leap in to congratulate the Green Ranger, and check on the Red Ranger.] RED KENDO RANGER: We're not done yet, guys! [Rokai grows to his giant form. The Green Ranger kneels down to use his Kendo Cell to brush a symbol over the Emblem.] GREEN KENDO RANGER: I Summon The Spirit Of The Orikami! [The Emblem grows big, and envelops the Green Ranger. The Emblem Mode converts to Animal Mode.] Spirit Of The Woods! Bear Kendozord, Go! [Rokai spits something out of his mouth to attack the Bear Kendozord, but it dodges the attack. The Kendozord then attacks Rokai with it's claws.] Ah, you've had it, Rokai! [Rokai then kicks the Bear into the air, who is caught by the other four Kendozords.] RED KENDO RANGER: Time to form the megazord, guys! ALL RANGERS: Kendozords, Spirit Fusion! [The five Kendozords join together to form the megazord.] RED KENDO RANGER: Kendo Megazord... ALL RANGERS: Ready! GREEN KENDO RANGER: Guys, I'm sorry for the way I have been acting! From now on, I'm with you guys! RED KENDO RANGER: Let's just take him down, and we'll call it even! ROKAI: You're megazord is no match for me! [Rokai spits again, but the megazord uses it's shield to deflect the attack. The megazord moves in, now with the sword as well. Rokai then uses his Stretching Arms to burrow underground.] I just love big giant machines! [The megazord puts it's shield away to fully use the sword, and prepares to defend itself. The Red Ranger concentrates to figure out Rokai's plan of attack...the megazord's eyes go dark as Rokai's fists continue to burrow underground.] RED KENDO RANGER: Gotch'a! [Rokai's fists emerge to attack the megazord, but it is ready to defend (as the eyes return to their blue-green color)...stepping on one hand, and stopping the other with the sword.] ROKAI: (furious) What!? [With the other rangers in shock, the megazord slices through both arms to decapitate them.] ALL RANGERS: (as they remove their Kendo Razors for the finisher) Kendo Mega Saber...ready! [The megazord uses the sword to perform it's finisher.] Divine Sword Slash! [The megazord executes it's finisher as a final slice is delivered to Rokai, who explodes as the megazord poses victoriously, and the rangers celebrate in the cockpit.] INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [iod is un-eased with Rokai's defeat, so Crustacea nervously picks up her guitar to play a soothing song for him.] EXT.-CITY-PLAZA-DAY [Eddie walks a bit behind the others as they all return to the forest. He thinks about his hospitalized friends, who are shown to be recovering well. The tough fight ahead sinks into Eddie, who then rushes to catch up to the others.]

KAGEKAMEN: Make us! DIMITRI FEDOROV: Our pleasure! [The five reveal their Kendo Cells and Orikami Emblems. Both sides prepare to battle. Before the five have time to react, the Orikami Spirits in Emblem Mode spring to life by transforming into small animals in their partners' palms.] SIERRA CROFT: What the!? [The small Orikami Spirits in Animal Mode leap from the palms to attack Kagekamen and destroy him, and his Kanizar soldiers.] EDDIE CALLAHAN: Whoa! SIERRA CROFT: No, way! [The Orikami Spirits return to their partners in Emblem Mode. The five teens inspect them.] MEGAN NOIMI: Amazing! INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-SHIP-DAY [Octo serves a drink to Iod. During this, another Aykasi, Doublis enters.] DOUBLIS: Lord Iod...the Kendo Rangers have returned! IOD: (angered, tossing his drink) I know that! So...what do you plan on doing about it? DOUBLIS: I'll take care of them for you. IOD: Good...'cause if you don't...I'll take care of you! [Doublis turns around, and departs for the city.] EXT.-CITY-BOARDWALK-DAY [Later in the day, a boy with a baseball glove tosses a baseball against a wall, and catches it, to practice his pitching and catching skills. Soon, the ball gets loose, and rolls behind a vending machine.] BASEBALL BOY: Darn it! [The boy goes to the machine, and tries to retrieve his ball, but is interrupted when an army of Kanizars squeeze through the small opening on the side, he gets scared, and screams. Walking nearby, Dimitri hears the boy's screams, and comes to his aid.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Get to safety, kid! [Dimitri sees the boy runs off.] Leave him alone! It's me that you want! [Dimitri then takes his Lion Orikami Spirit out of his pocket. The Lion Orikami springs to life, and it attacks the Kanizars. Dimitri watches the Orikami take out the dozen or so Kanizars. Meanwhile, unsuspecting citizens are walking on a pier. A blue hand reaches up to trip the citizens, then he squeezes out of the slats to reveal his identity.] DOUBLIS: I am Doublis...soon you will become servants of the Stygian Syndicate! [Doublis has a bunch of Kanizars attack the citizens, who flee in fear. During the fracas, several citizens are flung off buildings, and other various items. Doublis then slices through several cars with his swords. The battle moves over to some steps, where the five teenagers arrive, and interrupt the pillaging.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Hey! DOUBLIS: (noticing the five) You! [The five teenagers brandish their Kendo Cells, and convert them to PDA Mode. The five press the morph button to transform.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Ready to do this, guys!? ALL: (posing) Spirits Of The Orikami, Transform! YELLOW KENDO RANGER: We're surrounded! PINK KENDO RANGER: This! [The five rangers spin their black Kendo Discs to transform their swords into their secondary weapons. The five then reach into their belt buckles, and pull out their colored Kendo Discs, and install them onto the weapons.] RED KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Fire Striker! BLUE KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Hydro Arrow! PINK KENDO RANGER: (installing the disc, posing with the weapon) Aero Fan! The Red Ranger then strikes the Aykasi twice, then kicks him.] DOUBLIS: You don't have what it takes to defeat the Stygian Syndicate! RED KENDO RANGER: Try me! [The Red Ranger swings his weapon to blow Doublis over a white car. Doublis then breaks the car's door window, and pushes the car towards the ranger.] Really!? Magma Slicer! [The Red Ranger slices the car in two with the Fire Striker.] You're getting on my nerves! DOUBLIS: Bring it! [The Red Ranger then rushes at the Aykasi, and pushes him through metal drum barrels, and cardboard boxes, then into a pillar.] RED KENDO RANGER: Time to end this! Magma Slicer! [The Red Ranger slices the pillar to defeat Doublis. After a few minutes, Doublis revives, and grows giant.] Now what!? PINK KENDO RANGER: We use the Orikami! [The five rangers summon their Orikami Spirits, and convert them into Animal Mode from Emblem Mode. Suddenly, the giant-sized Doublis tries to squash them, but they roll away to safety. RED KENDO RANGER: I've had enough of this...Grand Blaze! [The Red Ranger pulls his Kendo Razor from the panel, and spins the black Kendo Disc. The Lion Kendozord charges at Doublis while engulfed in flames, and strikes him.] DOUBLIS: Oh, no! [Doublis collapses, and explodes...the rangers celebrate in their cockpits with the flaming remains of the Aykasi behind them. The five rangers exit their zords, and land on the ground.] ALL RANGERS: Power Down! [As the suits vanish from the five teenagers, Paolo approaches them.] PAOLO NOIMI: You may have destroyed Doublis, but there will be other Aykasi that the Stygians will throw at us. The inhabitants of the village are the ones that watch over the statue to protect Earth. The village's leader, Paolo Noimi, and it's Medicine Woman, Nala Cali stand at the edge of the village, looking at the statue. They both sense something troubling.] PAOLO NOIMI: You can sense it, can't you? NALA CALI: Dark times are ahead for us, Paolo. [soon, a young, female villager approaches the two.] MEGAN NOIMI: What is going on, Father? PAOLO NOIMI: It is none of your concern at this time, Megan. INT.-CITY-RIO MESA HIGH SCHOOL-DAY [it is a Friday afternoon. School has just let out for the weekend. Four students (Dimitri, Cody, Eddie, and Sierra) are by their lockers as they prepare to leave campus for the day.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: So, what are you guys planning to do this weekend? EDDIE CALLAHAN: I don't know...play some football...maybe play some video games on my Playstation. [Eddie gives Cody a stern-like look.] That is if my console has recovered since the last time! CODY EGAWA: Sorry, you know that I love taking electronic devices apart! DIMITRI FEDOROV: Well, I'm gonna go on a hike in the forest...maybe camp out there. SIERRA CROFT: Do you mind if we tag along? I may be of some service to everyone...since my parents were once forest rangers at Yosemite. DIMITRI FEDOROV: Sure...what about you, Cody...you in? CODY EGAWA: Sure! I heard that there is a weird-looking statue just sitting in the middle of the forest! DIMITRI FEDOROV: So, Eddie...going out for Varsity football this season? EDDIE CALLAHAN: Yeah...going out for baseball in the spring? [Dimitri nods. Soon, a low-level Autistic female student enters the hallway while being pestered by two male bullies, named Brock Holliday and Brent Stevens, who knock the girl's books from her arms. Bothered by the actions of the bullies, Dimitri decides to take action.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Hey! Leave her alone! BROCK HOLLIDAY: Who said so!? BRENT STEVENS: Yeah! DIMITRI FEDOROV: (while taking a defensive stance) I do! [The two bullies decide to flee. Dimitri helps pick up the spilled books.] What's your name? DAKOTA SULLIVAN: Dakota...Dakota Sullivan. [Dimitri hands a couple books to Dakota.] Thanks. DIMITRI FEDOROV: I'm Dimitri...and that's Cody, Eddie, and Sierra. DAKOTA SULLIVAN: Well, I got to go. Thanks again! [Dakota leaves the hallway. Dimitri is a bit overcome with a sense of justice.] EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-DAY [The four hikers are walking around the forest.] SIERRA CROFT: It's getting late...we should set up camp. DIMITRI FEDOROV: Good idea. [The four set up their campground.] EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-NIGHT [Later that night, the quartet tries to go to sleep...but unfamiliar surroundings and sounds keep the group awake. Suddenly, something runs through the camp, prompting Dimitri and Eddie to investigate.] SIERRA CROFT: (as Dimitri and Eddie return) What was it? EDDIE CALLAHAN: We don't know...but it's gone. CODY EGAWA: (pointing out some weird looking footprints) Well, I say we follow the trail. [The four hikers follow the trail to a large tree.] EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-STATUE AREA-NIGHT [The camp intruder (Kagekamen), dressed like a Samurai warrior stands before the monolithic statue. Watching from a safe distance, are the four hikers. Kagekamen rolls out a scroll, and seem to read from it.] KAGEKAMEN: It has been a millenia since we, the Stygian Syndicate have roamed the Earth! We must continue our task of enslaving the planet! [suddenly, the statue explodes, releasing the three villains, and catches the four hikers off guard. Kagekamen gets down on one knee, and bows before the trio to show his loyalty.] Iod...Octo...and Crustacea...I pledge my loyalty to the Syndicate! IOD: (noticing the quartet watching them) Kagekamen...get them! [The four hikers know that they have been sighted, and prepare to defend themselves. Suddenly, Megan swoops in, and lands in between the four hikers, and Kagekamen. While taking a defensive stance, Megan hastily introduces herself and the villains to the four hikers.] MEGAN NOIMI: Hi, I'm Megan. Guys, these are members of the Stygian Syndicate. Defend yourselves! KAGEKAMEN: I am Kagekamen...your worst nightmare! CODY EGAWA: Kagekamen? That means Shadow Mask! KAGEKAMEN: Very perceptive! Kanizars! [An army of three dozen soldiers in yellow outfits and red crab-like heads appear.] MEGAN NOIMI: Oh, great! Them! [The five teenagers battle the Kanizars for a bit. A few minutes later, Paolo arrives, and drives off the villains.] PAOLO NOIMI: Come with me, my friends. [The group of six depart for the Orikami Village.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-PAOLO'S HUT-NIGHT [The five teenagers all talk about the battle. Within a couple minutes, Paolo and Nala enter the hut.] MEGAN NOIMI: Now, what's going on, Father? [The other four look surprised.] PAOLO NOIMI: That was something! Huh, guys? Those beings are members of the Stygian Syndicate. See, a millenia ago, they were defeated by a group of young adults, much like yourselves, and imprisoned into a statue. CODY EGAWA: What is their purpose for being on Earth? NALA CALI: (as she places a wooden box onto the table) They want to enslave the Earthling race to take over the planet...and ultimately, the universe. PAOLO NOIMI: And you five can stop them. EDDIE CALLAHAN: (skeptical) How? [Paolo opens the box lid, revealing five cellular phone-like devices sitting on velvety red material.] PAOLO NOIMI: These are the Kendo Cells. You five are descendants of the ancient warriors of long ago. This is your destiny. CODY EGAWA: Destiny? PAOLO NOIMI: Your destiny to become Power Rangers! [The five teenagers are still reeling with the news as Paolo hands out the small Orikami Emblems.] Dimitri Fedorov...you will be the Red Kendo Ranger. With the power of fire, you will control the lion. Cody Egawa...you will be the Blue Kendo Ranger. With the power of water, you will control the dragon. Megan Noimi...you will be the Pink Kendo Ranger. With the power of Air, you will control the turtle. Eddie Callahan...you will be the Green Kendo Ranger. With the power of wood, you will control the bear. And Sierra Croft...you will be the Yellow Kendo Ranger. With the power of Earth, you will control the monkey. MEGAN NOIMI: No...way! [The five teenagers hold out their Emblems, and shout out the command.] ALL TEENS: Orikami...Awaken! PAOLO NOIMI: I suspect that the Stygian Syndicate will attack first in the city. DIMITRI FEDOROV: Then that is where we'll go first. INT.-PURGATORY-RIVER STYX-DAY [in a dark, hellish locale, there is a bubbling riverway of hot water. Suddenly, a ship of some sort rises up from the depths. Iod, Octo, and Crustacea prepare to have their Kanizars invade the city.] CRUSTACEA: (playing an eerie tune on her guitar) It feels good being free! See? After a thousand years, I'm a bit rusty on this instrument. OCTO: You've always been rusty on that thing, Crustacea! Iod...we must prepare to face the fact that the descendants of the ancient warriors that imprisoned us will be ready to defeat us once more! IOD: (angry) That's it! I knew that there was something about those teenagers that faced us earlier. Those are the descendants of the ancient warriors! Yes, Octo...we must prepare! Kanizars! Go to the village, and annihilate it! [The Kanizars depart the evil base with Kagekamen.] INT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-PAOLO'S HUT-DAY [The five teenagers are still reeling from the events of the day.] MEGAN NOIMI: Descendants? But, I was adopted! You know my birth parents? PAOLO NOIMI: No. But you are my daughter...a part of my family. And your descendant was my Great-Grandmother. [A villager runs into Paolo's hut.] VILLAGER: We're being invaded! A Aykasi and an army of Kanizars are heading this way! PAOLO NOIMI: Time to go to work, rangers! You will know the command when you activate the morpher. [The five leave Paolo's hut.] EXT.-ANGEL GROVE NATIONAL FOREST-ORIKAMI VILLAGE-DAY [The five prepare to face the Aykasi and his army of Kanizars.] DIMITRI FEDOROV: Come on, guys! We need to defend Earth! [When Kagekamen and the army of Kanizar soldiers arrive, they meet face-to-face with the five teenagers.] KAGEKAMEN: You five, again!? DIMITRI FEDOROV: Yeah! And we got a message for your boss! MEGAN NOIMI: Leave our planet! KAGEKAMEN: Make us! DIMITRI FEDOROV: Our pleasure! [The five reveal their Kendo Cells and their Orikami Emblems. Both sides prepare to battle, but are in a stand-off. TO BE CONTINUED...]
