To the homeless, may shelter forever be brought over your head. To the weak, may the year bring you stronger, and wiser. To the lame, crippled, and injured, may your hearts heal you and may your body that can heal, heal and for those parts that cannot, may your mind be at peace and heal as well. To those who are well, home safe, strong, and full of food, may you share your resources that you have gained, so that you waste none. To our bretheren worldwide, I can only hope, and pray, and seek peace. Peace within ourselves, peace within our communities, peace within our nations, and peace within our world. Perhaps naive, but even so, may the new year be better than the last, and may grace shine brightly.
