For instance, firing the giga smasher usually uses up so much energy that the gigantic deactivates. Basically though, the gigantic has about the same metabolic rate as a zoalord. Or maybe that's a protozoalord. Either way, Sho got tired in the same fashion. My guess is that the energy amp crystals convert the energy much fast than normal, all for a single more powerful attack.
