Kingdom Hearts: Evanescence Destiny

I told my friends, once I got hooked by this game I wouldn't be able to stop myself from writing a fanfiction for it, and once again my predictions have come to pass.

Now this fanfiction is an alternate Kingdom Hearts 2, for two reason, one being that we don't know that much about number 2 so there's no point in writing a fanfiction set after it obviously, and the second reason being that I'm far too impatient to wait until next year for it to be released. So going off information I have read through on the Kingdom Hearts 2net and Ansems Report website, I have started this fanfiction. For now, Sora will not be the main character, my character is (as he is the only one of my trinity characters that is suited to this role)

Here's a little sample of what I've done in the last five minutes.

**Please, note two things, I haven't finished KH's myself so I don't know every single detail, I do however have a basic knowledge of what happens and I have seen the ending (Watched my friend finish it )

Chapter 1: Destiny?s Path

Long ago, light ruled over all, bathing every heart and soul in the warmth of the light and kept everything in peace, but then the greed within people caused them to fight over the light, each wanting it only for themselves, and so the darkness within all hearts was born and the world was destroyed by it. But within the hearts of children, the light lived on, and through the power they had, the children rebuilt the world through the fragments of light they each kept within. It is the world we live in now, but the true light is still to be awoken by the one, who will open the door???

All of a sudden, the young boy shot awake in bed, his face and chest covered in sweat as he sat there breathing heavily with his heart thumbing rapidly. After a few seconds his breathing started to return to normal and brought his hand up to his head, realizing vaguely that it had all just been a dream, but still, the voice seemed so real. It wasn?t that the dream scared him in anyway it was quiet the opposite, the words of the strange voice filled him with a welcoming warmth that was so alien to him that when it reached into every part of his being it shocked him.

?What does that mean though? But the true light is still to be awoke by the one who will open the door?? he wondered out loud, he had been having this dream almost constantly for the last year and he still couldn?t figure it out. When he had tried talking to a friend about it, they simply told him that he was going nuts and shouldn?t pay it any mind, but then again, his friends didn?t do a lot thinking compared to the amount of fun they?d rather have.

?Rune, get up, breakfast is almost ready!? his mother called from the kitchen suddenly, causing him to jump in surprise.

Quickly he got up and stretched his arms and legs with a loud yawn, but as he was about to walk out something on the balcony off his room moved and he spun around, but there was nothing there. He stood there for a few minutes, convinced he had seen something however he finally managed to convince himself that it had just been a combination of shadows and a trick of the light, nothing more. When he finally left the room though, he didn?t see the figure standing secretly within the shadows of the tree outside his room.

"So, he is the one?"

So, what do you think of that little sample? And just so you know, that last bit of dialogue there, its not what it sounds like, in fact, it could mean a great many of things ^_~
