Here it is, chapter 2, I know I took my sweet ass time getting this one finished, but I've been preocuplied with Summit of the Dark Heros and other fictions ;

Also, I forgot to post this with the first chapter..... THE PLOT

THE PLOT for DARK PLUS

Since the events of Silent Line, almost a thousand years has past, and for the last twenty years, the human race has once again been drawn into the chaos of war. A strange and mysterious group know as Nexus has been formed and has declared war against the governments of Earth, Mars and Venus and with their superior MT's and soldiers they have forced the governments to once again call on the talents of the most elite pilots ever to pilot a mecha. The Ravens. Hired into the war, Raven's now fight dangerous battles on land, in space, and now, even in water. With new and more deadly parts at their disposal, the Ravens are the only force that stand between Nexus and total oblivion.

But what is the Dark Plus technology, and where did it come from. One Raven is about to find out the hard way..........

Chapter 2: Battle Field Blight

His eyes darted back and forth with uncertainty as a group of three men wearing white lab coats entered the room accompanied by four armed soldiers carrying high powered machine guns, all of which were trained on him. While he did cease in his struggles he kept up a look of defiance and anger, which caused one of the soldiers, a young man who appeared to be no older then seventeen to flinch. He smirked at this and waited as the three lab coat men moved towards him

"I want you to cough on the count of three" said one of the scientist looking guys, he was an elderly man with silvery gray hair that was neatly brushed back and cut short. "1...2...3"

At that he coughed hard and the plastic tube was slid from his throat without any problem. As it past his lips he took a deep breath of fresh air and sighed from relief, he hated having that tube down his throat, not being able to breath on his own control and made him feel like he was suffercating but without the actual end.

After a couple of seconds of gathering his thoughts he turned and looked at the silvered haired man.

"Ok, Old Man, who are you people and where the hell am I?!" he demanded but as he finished his sentance he realized something very important, his voice older and nolonger sounded like his own.

"My name is Dr. Hikaru" said the man. "And you will not speak unless you are spoken to, now we're going to release the your restraints, if you try to escape or try anything funny, these men will shoot you before you even make it to the door, do you understand me?"

"Yes" he growled.

"From now on you will adderss me as 'sir' soldier. Now you've been in a coma for four years, offically you were killed on the battle field, but as your well aware you very much alive" Hikaru explained, pausing a moment to take in the shock look of the young man.

"Who are you people?" he demanded, and instantly was delivered a strong punch to the face from a soldier next to him. He reached up and rubbed his jaw calmly, then he turned to the regard the soldier with a cold glare. "The next time you do that, your life will be forefitted" he warned, only to recieve another blow to the face.

"Now, now, I know your smarter then this, Zeptha. Now, we've got to run some tests on you now that you're awake" Hikaru told him and signaled for him to stand up.

Rather hesitantly Zeptha stood up, he wasn't scared, he was just going over his current options, four armed men, three unarmed men and himself without any weapons other then his hands and feet, it wasn't the right time to engage the enemy, this was their playground, for now at least.

As soon as he stood up his hands were pulled behind his back and secured with hand cuffs. Though as he stood there he took in the room for the first time, the room sported two rows of hospital beds, there was twenty beds in both rows and in each row had a person in with plastic breathing tubes shoved down their throats. For the first time a shiver of fear ran down Zeptha's spine. Whoever these people were, they were sick and he wasn't going to be their test bitch.

As the door opened, bright light poured in from the corridor outside and directly into Zeptha's eyes, he winced slightly from the brief pain and blindness, his eyes were still adjusting, slowly but then again he had been in a coma for four years so of course it was going to take his eyes a little time to adjust properly.

The corridor he was led into was filled with a few scientists and a couple of guards, some were pushing kids around that appeared to be no older then him, they were mostly sixteen or seventeen and all of them bore black hair and striking violate eyes and pale skin and not one of them appeared to have an ounce of fat below their necks. Something was definitely up. Suddenly he was pushed forward and he realized he had stopped. Eventually he was led to a room where four more black haired, purple eyed teens stood all with their hands hand cuffed behind their backs. He glanced

over them, there was two females and two males. The two guys looked cautious and a little skittish while the two girls looked rather collected, for the moment at least.

"Zeptha, I'd like to introduce you to your squadron" Hikaru said.

"Wha?!" he replied in shock, it was uncontainable.

"You will be running missions for us, you were one of the best Ravens to have ever entered the Arena or Battlefield so it seemed only appropriate that you will command a squadron of other slightly talented pilots" Hikaru explained.

"I'm not running any missions for you unless you pay me baka" Zeptha hissed.

"I beg to differ young raven, you see we know exactly where your brother is at this moment, and if you don't do what we say, we'll drop a ballistic missile on his home, killing him and his young family. That's right you don't know do you? Your brother married and has a son three years old, named after his late uncle" Hikaru said casually.

"You bastard" Zeptha snarled.

"And just incase any of you four object to working for us, we have missiles set to destroy your families too" Hikaru warned.

Zeptha waited for someone to say something, but after a couple of minutes of silence he couldn't stand it any longer. "And just what kind of missions do you expect us to do for you?"

"Sabotage, infiltration, reconnaissance, assassination, that kind of stuff" Hikaru replied calmly. "Now, let me introduce you to your squad mates. The female on the left is Catalyst, a Raven whose talents were wasted on small insignificant missions. The female on the right is Sparrow, she worked mainly in the Earth Arena, she kept a low profile so little knew of her real talents as an AC pilot. The male on the left Drex, an arrogant pilot with little talent but with a long string of luck and finally the male on the right is Styx a very talented Earth Raven, almost as good as you Zeptha, which is why he your second in command. We'll give you a couple of minutes to get acquainted with each other, then we'll start running simulations."

Zeptha looked over to Styx and their eyes met, Zeptha gave a quick flick of his eyes to the guard at his left and then one to the guard on Styxs's right. Styx suddenly smile and gave a quick nod.

Zeptha suddenly jumped up and his pulled his hands under his feet, then as he landed he executed a perfect jumping spinning kick which sent the machine gun the guard on his left was holding, flying into the side of Dr. Hikaru's head, knocking the old man unconscious. Quickly he got behind the now unarmed guard wrapped his arms around the guard's next before snapping with a twist.

Styx had done slightly better by disarming his opponent and grabbing the weapon before it fell to the floor and downed two more guards with a volley of gun fire. That only left one guard and two scientist, who were trying to frantically get out of the room as Zeptha and Styx advanced on them. Zeptha noticed that the guard still standing was the one who had punched him, he signaled for Styx to get the scientists.

"I told you if you hit me again your life would be forefitted, you didn't believe me, did you?!" Zeptha said with a grunt as he jumped out of the way as the guard fired, only to come up under him with a flat palm strike to the guards nose that send the bone smashing through into his brain. As the guard dropped to the floor, Zeptha turned around and saw Styx finishing off the two scientists with knife strikes to the throats. "Good work, I wasn't sure if you had any combat training, but something told me you did, Second" Zeptha laughed slightly as he bent down to retrieve the cuff keys from the guard he had just downed.

"Yeah, same to you commander" Styx replied jokingly, then they turned around to see Drex, Catalyst and Sparrow all staring at them in shocked surprise.

"What?" they both asked.

"I can't believe you just did that, that gun fire's going to bring the other guards in the corridor running, they'll kill our families god damn it" Drex's snapped at them.

"They don't even know who your families are, and if they did, they would've been killed long before now. These guys have gone to a lot of trouble of getting us, they would've killed our families to tie up any loose ends and besides they tipped me off to all this when Hikaru said they knew where my brother was, that's impossible, because my brother died six years ago when he tried and failed to become a top ranking Raven" Zeptha explained.

"Quick, I hear footsteps" Styx said, his ear pressed to the door.

"Grabbed their weapons" Zeptha said, gesturing to the guards as he threw a machine gun to Drex and two more to the girls, while he grabbed a hunting knife from one of the guards belt and held it reverse. "Come on, we need to get out of this room or its going to be a blood bath. Cut down the ones in front of the door and then we run for it. I saw an emergency exit door at the end of the corridor, that's our destination. Catalyst, Sparrow up front, Drex, Styx, you two watch our asses, laid down a constant suppressing fire until we get to the door, if you run out of bullets, abandon your weapon and just run for it. Got it?"

"Got it" they replied in unison.

At that moment the door busted open and the four teens opened fire, mowing down three soldiers standing in front of the door. Using the surprise to their advantage they raced out into the corridor and started running down it towards the emergency exited, Zeptha, Styx and Drex fired their weapons back towards the guards that were recovering from the surprise attack and forced them to run for cover. Sparrow aimed her gun at the locking mechanism on the emergency door just in case it was locked and then, as one they all burst through the exit one by one and were soon running down flights of stairs. The guards were after them a lot faster then they had anticipated and they were soon dodging luck shots being fired from a couple of floors up.

"Watch yourselves" Zeptha yelled as he jumped back a second before a bullet went zipping past his head and bit into one of the stairs.

A few minutes later they reached the bottom where they kicked open a door and rushed out, only to find themselves in a large hanger full of MT's of all sorts. One by one they all got a large smile.

"Pick your mecha and go!" Zeptha said with a smile of excitement and then ran off, Styx sticking right next to him.

"Your enjoying this!" Styx accused, though he had a similar smile.

"Just a little" Zeptha grinned, his upper left canine teeth visible.

As gun fire erupted the two teens lunged forward, rolled and came back up with their guns raised and fired towards the door they had just come from, two guards instantly fell to the ground riddled with holes, but the guards hadn't been firing at them, in fact they weren't even looking towards them. Zeptha and Styx looked across the hanger towards an MT and saw that Catalyst had taken the several rounds and was dead.

"We'll mourn later" Zeptha said quietly as he grabbed Styx's arm and pulled him along.

They came to two MT's that were kneeling next to one another, they both carried shotguns, from the looks of their left arms they also had laser blades and on their shoulders they were equipped with a small missile launcher and a radar pack. The bird pits were opened and they were easily reachable.

"They'll do" Zeptha nodded and they each took an MT. As he pulled himself into the ****pit seat, Zeptha closed the ****pit hatch and started the mecha up, but as always, MT's seemed to take forever and finally Zeptha lost his patience and slammed his fist against the consol. "Move it you pathetic piece of scrap!"

Almost instantly the two mech's started and the along with Styx, Zeptha took manual control of the giant robot. He looked around and saw two other mech's of similar design as his and Styx coming towards them, he quickly realized though that it was Drex and Sparrow as they weren't shooting at them.

"Computer, search for the frequency of the three MT's around us" Zeptha told the computer.

"Please wait one minute" came a slightly female voice.

"Piece junk, do it in thirty seconds!" Zeptha snapped, though at the same time he signaled to the other to follow him and he started running towards the exited, he locked his missiles onto the hanger door and fired.

Two missiles shot out of the small launched on his shoulder and spiraled towards the hanger doors and upon impact, sent the door blasting away in many directions. When the smoke cleared there was a sizable hole, but the explosion had brought the attention of some MT's that had been outside at the time. Zeptha, Styx and Drex saw this and moved out of the way as the MT's fired a barrage of bullets at them. Sparrow caught all the round in her MT and before their eyes they saw the ****pit area exploded in a ball of fire.

"NO!" Drex screamed and raced at the enemy MT's, firing wildly.

"Drex wait!" Zeptha tried to tell him, but realized the computer still hadn't found a frequency.

Drex charged head first into the MT's even as they fired round after round at him, Zeptha could hear the gears and internals almost screaming in protest as Drex drove them forth. He tackled one MT to the ground and as he did a bright light could be seen coming from inside the MT's, bursting out through joints and other areas. Then there was a flash bright light and Drex was gone.

Zeptha stared in a mix of horror and disbelief as the light died down and he saw what remained. Drex's MT was completely gone and the other MT's that had been around him were charred and mangled from the explosion.

"That's a powerful self destruct" Zeptha thought.

"Frequency found, connecting to pilot" spoke the computer.

"Finally" he muttered. "Hey Styx, how you holding up over there?"

"Alright, but we've got to get out of here, I just saw a bunch people climbing into some MT's back there, we've got maybe a minute, or two before they're up and after us" Styx replied.

Zeptha unconsciously nodded, he looked out of the warehouse and saw forest not to far away, it looked pretty thick and large. "Styx, we're going to brake for that forest over there, we'll use the tree's for cover and if we have to we'll take them down one by one before they even see us. You with me?"

"Affirmative" Zeptha could almost see Styx grinning.

As one they broke from the warehouse and started running across the snow covered grounds, firing back towards the warehouse every now and then in hopes they would hit something critical and delay their pursuers even more.

Within seconds they were near the fence line that was about twenty feet high, and working as if in synch, the two young pilots gunned their boosters as they jumped into the air. They flew high over the fence and tree lines with the light of the boosts glowing behind them. And then they dropped into the trees?..
