Guest Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 I personally thought the movie was crap, it was no where near as good as the first movie and I think it failed miserably. Though good in its own right, I'm ashamed of the makers of the first movie for making the second one the way they did. There wasn't enough time for character development and there wasn't nearly enough action. The gore wasn't bad but a movie can't survive solely on gore alone. The only part I liked about this movie was ending and thats because heroism always gets me. Quote

The level of thrills and scifi horror is unbareably low! I would not recommend this movie! But, there is a spark of heroism at the end, played by Robert Burke. Quote
Guest Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 i actually thought the tv show was the best of the 3 series (movie 1&2 and tv show) although it was all CGI and on all hella early in the morning but the reason i liked it a lot better is because they got more into the story of the bugs and what they were trying 2 do plus they had the bugs invade the earth hahaha yess....ok im done now hehehe Quote

It sucked. Period. The series was pretty good though. Thank god we've still got that and the first movie to hang on to. Quote
Guest Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 As a general rule of thumb if a movie is direct to video. The producers are not expecting it to gross well in the theaters. So when you see releases like this come out try your best to just move past them. Also i liked Starship Troopers I too. However that was in the theaters. I know my rule does not always hold true and there are exceptions. Have a great rest of the weekend Quote
Guest Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 when i watched the first movie, i fell in love with it. one of the best sci fi movies ever. when riven told me the second was bad, i ignored him and i hired it anyway. then i saw the greatest abomination of films since the sequels to the matrix. i do not know what the directors were thinking when they made this movie, nor do i want to know. where was the epic storyline? where was the great cinematics? where was the love of a great story???!!! it was like a beautiful woman had just tore my brain out and peed on it while pumping liquid adamantium into my rectum. it was a BADLY MADE B grade movie that 4 university students made when they had some spare time and had just taken alot of drugs. i will ignore this movie. it was not a starship troopers movie. it was evil. it was more evil than anything i have ever seen. the CG show kicked ass though.
