Anime

Anime is a word assigned to Animation from Japan. It can range from kids television with super cute creatures that look like Pokemon to super realistic and ultra serious covering themes of rape, and killing to shows about cooking and food. The Anime industry is huge in Japan with only a fraction of it getting published in the western English-speaking countries which leads to many series only being available in Japanese and more commonly fan-subbed.
