Archanfel versus (The Second Round)

Recommended Posts

Alrighty, time to pull out the stops...since I've started checking out his TV series on Fox, I thought I'd throw in...

ujt7y5uwksyg41xvqjl3.png

David Charles Haller, aka Legion.

The illegitimate son of Professor Charles Xavier, Legion is classified as an "Omega-Level" mutant.  In addition, he has multiple personalities, which each personality possessing a different power.  So far, Haller has demonstrated such abilities as reality warping, energy manipulation, matter manipulation, telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, time travel, rapid punching, and on and on.

I can definitely see this guy giving Archanfel a REALLY hard time.  How about you?

Following up, here's another contestant:

Shdwkng.jpg.25c21c39fc5630a69dd6ff70f2cdb11e.jpg

Amahl Farouk, better known as the Shadow King.

Initially presented as a telepath second only to Professor X, the Shadow King was later revealed to be an astral entity, preying on the bodies of powerful psychics and using them to enslave others.  His abilities are typically limited only by whatever body he possesses at the time.

Shadow King would be a terrible adversary for Archanfel. He's naive, emotionally vulnerable and inexperienced. Farouk would destroy him.

Well I seem to be in a "mutant" state of mind, so let's keep the ball rolling with our next contestant, Nate Grey, also known as X-Man.

36356-5567-40601-1-x-man.jpg

Hailing from the alternate universe of Earth-295 (better known as the Age of Apocalypse), Nate was essentially that universe's version of Cable (minus the techno-organic virus), which enabled him full use of his immense psionic abilities.  Like Legion, Nate has been classified as an Omega-Level mutant.  He has demonstrated such powers as the ability to exist incorporeal as living psychic energy, precognition, telekinesis, telepathy, energy and matter manipulation, psychometry, astral projection, teleportation, cross-dimensional travel and energy projection.  Dr. Moira MacTaggert had even once stated that his powers could rival even that of a Phoenix Force-imbued Jean Grey.

If this guy were to go head-to-head with Archanfel...I'd wanna be somewhere else.

Switching gears, I'd like to bring in a contestant from the DC Universe...

96303-63025-uncle-sam.jpg.5b477ac8f65868554bba13369eaf8ce3.jpg

Uncle Sam of the Freedom Fighters!

Being neither precisely human, meta, or mystical, Sam is the living embodiment of the Spirit of America.  He has demonstrated such powers as super strength, invulnerability, enhanced speed, size alteration, and some degree of the clairvoyance.  He also has the ability to transport himself and others into a pocket dimension known as The Heartland.  His powers are said to be in direct proportion of the belief people have in the idea of the United States as The City Upon a Hill.

So...how do you think he'd fare against Archanfel?

Very, very poorly.

Archanfel knows the truth about the human race: it was created for a purpose, and that purpose does not include freedom - only battle. In the context of 'The Guyver', Uncle Sam's existence is based on a lie. And that knowledge is on the table now, although it's still not entirely clear to me how many people in the world actually know the whole story.

Mazinger ZERO

050c749a62f4c3b89b8dc536ad5d5fd8-dba3z57.jpg

In the comic Shin Mazinger Z it is revelled that within the robot Mazinger Z resides a hidden power....."Majin Power"

Mazinger Z features a unique system of seven black boxes that hold the hidden power of the Mazinger Z, each black box allows a new ability and can be utilized by its pilot outside of the mecha seen when Koji is able to use the Prediction of Higher Order. The black boxes are:

  1. Regeneration: When damaged, this can allow repairs in a fraction of a second.
  2. Assimilation: Allows Mazinger Z to absorb energy attacks and convert it into its power source.
  3. Strengthening: Powers up the armor and reactor core, can be combined with the Metamorphosis black box's abilities.
  4. Prediction of Higher Order: Can predict the probability of an event that is close to 100% based on the behavior of an enemy, allowing Z to change undesirable outcomes.
  5. Metamorphosis: Causes a transformation on part of the body or attachments for versatile attacks and abilities. Can be used with other black boxes such as Strengthening.
  6. Reality Manipulation: Allows the Mazinger and pilot to see events that have happened in parallel worlds, allows both Mazinger and pilot to adapt to situations that would either damage or destroy Mazinger Z. This allows Z and its pilot to call upon their alternate counterparts to aid them in battle. With enough thoughts and backing, the pilot can also create situations including a barrage of Rocket Punches.
  7. Majin Change: Incorporates the pilot into Mazinger's frame while combining all of the other black boxes at full power to allow the transformation into Mazinger ZERO. It is also capable of changing the terrain into a wasteland and even destroy the entire planet.

Mazinger ZERO is Mazinger Z's true awakened form and embodies the words its creator stated long ago,  "With its power you can become a god or a devil!". ZERO is described as the "Ultimate Devil" and in almost every timeline it has ever appeared in the earth was destroyed. This is because when 7th change's fusion of pilot and machine send both into a frenzy that causes them to rampage until everything is destroyed!

ZERO possesses a sentient artificial intelligence that merges with its pilot, allowing it to move without one and even have a personality. ZERO desires to be the only super robot in existence and the presence of another Mazinger is one of the things that can set it off, desiring the destruction of this obstacle above all else. Due to the link between the pilot and Z, if any of the pilots possess a state of madness ZERO will be activated.

After consuming multiple timelines, ZERO had managed to become its own independent entity no longer held back by a pilot or even a reality. So powerful, it can influence other realities where it is the only Mazinger or super robot in all of existence. The only threat to ZERO however was its main pilot, Koji Kabuto who was influenced by the changing timelines and control the Reality Manipulation Black Box.

  • Breast Fire: A stronger variation of the standard attack capable of incinerating whatever opponent is in its path. During its first use, it melted the entire Kanto region, vaporized Tokyo Bay, and exposed Earth's mantle.
    • Final Breast Nova: An even more powerful variation where ZERO's photonic energy is pushed to its limits and releases a blast of energy that manages to penetrate the atmosphere and melt through an opponent's armor. This attack completely obliterated the lower body of Great Mazinkaiser.
  • Rust Hurricane: A blackened and stronger version of the standard version. It has enough power to obliterate Mount Fuji and cause devastation on a global scale with a single use.
  • Iron Cutter: Through the use of the Metamorphosis black box, ZERO causes the blade on its arm to form a gigantic blade around its fist before being fired at an enemy, bisecting them. It can cut through Super Alloy New Z with ease.
  • Koshiryoku Beam: After closing the eyes and opening them, ZERO releases a beam of photonic energy before it separates into a barrage of smaller beams capable of massive destruction. Each beam has enough power to pierce through Earth.

Getter Emperor

Image result for getter emperor

A gigantic being described as the final evolution of the Getter. Wielding godlike power, it continually absorbs matter on a universal scale. It is depicted as neither a malevolent or benevolent force.

Getter Emperor has currently only been seen in the form of 'Getter Emperor 1' which follows the traditional Getter 1 design, and expands upon it. Other forms are speculated to follow the same pattern as the Shin Getter Robo manga shows two other components.

Getter Emperor is an ever-expanding mech typically depicted at a galactic scale. Its components are composed of three large starships with the heads of the Getter 1-3 formations that are able to combine.

Each Getter Machine is armed with a Getter Beam capable of destroying an entire planet, with the complete machine's Getter Beam capable of traveling over 400 million light-years. This in turn helped jump start numerous evolutionary paths. It is also surrounded by a Getter Energy barrier that makes it impervious to all other weapons. The machine's own size likely gives it a powerful gravitational field and the corrosive nature of concentrated Getter Rays cause incompatible matter, energy, and space to be consumed. Its entire energy pool equates the output to the Big Bang and just its combination into Getter Emperor One caused galaxies to quake. The Getter can also manipulate space enough to destroy a subspace. Its ties to the Getter Rays gives it limited omniscience and allows it to stay steps ahead of an opponent. The more Emperor consumes the more powerful it becomes, with no limits to its evolution.

It is also supported by smaller Getter Machine star ships. Some of the ships are equipped with weapons not as powerful as Emperor and have equipment that contain data and memories of beings tied to the Getter Rays like Musashi Tomoe to create clones.

It is heavily implicated that Emperor is just a highly evolved form of the Getter Robo G, after it had been buried by Benkei and gone into a cocoon state for many years, although it can also be stated to be the final evolution of any Getter Robo. It could also have been the result of Shin Getter Robo absorbing the planet Mars after landing on it.Getter Emperor is a massive, ever-expanding Getter robot existing in the far future. It signifies the unstoppable force of Getter Rays, and poses a threat to all life in the universe as a result of its sheer size and power. In all appearances of Shin Getter Robo, the Emperor has been alluded to; usually either the Emperor itself or the appearance of the Emperor's equivalent of the Eagle Machine.Getter Emperor's first official appearance was in the manga Shin Getter Robo. Here, it is depicted in the distant future terrorizing an alien armada called the Andromeda Country. This prompts one of its smaller vessels to travel back to the era of the creation of the Emperor's possible larval form: Shin Getter Robo. After a grueling struggle, the enormous vessel is pulled - along with Ryoma Nagare and Hayato Jin in Shin Getter Robo - back to its native era where it is destroyed by Getter Emperor. After Ryoma and Hayato ponder the meaning of this enormous Getter, they are sent back to their own time.Emperor appeared again somewhere in the future where a fleet of humans used it to fight against the Andromeda Country. Humanity had been fighting a long war with the Andromeda Country and was on the brink of losing until Emperor appeared from a forgotten solar system. With this new power, humanity spread across space and conquered countless worlds. The humans saw Getter as their salvation, enemies saw Emperor as an all-consuming force that needed to be prevented from coming into existence.

The eternal God of Thunder, protector of Earthrealm, and one of the most powerful characters in the MK franchise.  Who thinks he could hold his own against Archanfel?

I’m not familiar with MK’s comic book law but going by all the games, Raiden has no power feats that I’m aware that would put him on Arch’s level. The most he’s done physically is smash though bridges and buildings while his most powerful lightening ability was a suicide attack that obliterated  the Dragon King’s temple.

I dare say he’d be hard pressed to beat any of the regular Zoalords, let alone Arch.

Here’s one I was wondering about.

King Ghidorah (Anime)

“There is a far greater destructive power lurking somewhere in space. Compared to that, Godzilla would not even be worth the fear. ...Ghidorah”

godzilla-planet-eater.jpg

An energy being that takes the form of a golden three-headed dragon and inhabits the void between dimensions, Ghidorah has used super gravity to consume countless worlds throughout the millennia. 100,000 years ago, Ghidorah destroyed the planet Exifcalus, while the surviving members of the native Exif race took to the stars to find new worlds and appease their God. With each new world the Exif found and converted to their faith, Ghidorah was fed a new planet.

Ghidorah’s main power is Super Gravity which it uses in multiple ways. The most basic is by encircling at its target with its neck and increasing the gravity in the area until it’s destroyed. This power also seems to play a part in how the creature travels between dimensions as it’s heads always manifest through singularities it creates. While not shown, this power is stated to be able destroy planets.

It’s other prominent power is space time distortion, likely related to it’s gravity powers. This manifests in a number of ways. Firstly while Ghidorah can be seen with the naked eye, the monster is invisible to technology aside from it’s gravitational anomalies. It’s also intangible to physical contact but can make contact with objects in our reality. When Godzilla Earth attacked the super monster, his beams curved or were reflected away from Ghidorah. Interestingly according the energy read outs the attack’s passed through Ghidorah. Ghidorah also uses this power when feeding as it was able to drain the energy and heat from  Godzilla Earth’s body as fast as he could generate it.

Ghidorah also has some electrical properties as it’s body generated blots of energy powerful enough to damage a spaceship and when it manifested on earth there was increased electrical activity in the atmosphere.

However while practically unstoppable, the God of the Void is not without a weakness.  Ghidorah cannot manifest into our reality without something to anchor him. In this case an Exif Bead and a person filled with great hate. If the bead/or the host is destroyed, Ghidorah becomes subject to our reality’s laws. In this state the monsters manifestation is very fragile and easy to destroy, which will force it back into the void.

That said it may be possible for Ghidorah to manifest without the bead for as the Exif say...

”As long as you have hate in your heart... Ghidorah will be watching you.”

Let's change this up a bit...our next contestant hails from the alien race known as the Technarchy...WARLOCK!

Warlock_(Technarch)_(Earth-616)_from_New_Mutants_Dead_Souls_Vol_1_3_001.jpg.953af0eeab94ac2d6cb37901e67c63cc.jpg

A techno-organic being, Warlock''s form constantly changes shape, and is capable of surviving the rigors of space.  In addition, he is capable of injecting a techno-organic virus into any object, converting it into a techno-organic form like himself, which he can then absorb.  Additionally, he can absorb pure energy.  After being infused with nano-technology, Warlock can repair his body as it is damaged, allowing him to "upgrade," adapting to any given situation.  The nanotech also enhances Warlock's shapeshifting abilities, allowing him to mimic forms and weapons.

So...who thinks 'Lock can give Archanfel a hard time?

Okay, time to reach across the pond this round.  Coming in from Marvel's UK Branch, we have Shevaun Haldane, aka Dark Angel!

Shevaun_Haldane_(Earth-616)_from_Revolutionary_War_Dark_Angel_Vol_1_1_005.jpg.d1f74c0234eead174c9ea4f47280ca5f.jpg

The daughter of one of the board members of the organization Mys-Tech, Shevaun was approached by a being called the Angel of Death, which imparted upon her a fragment of the universe, granting her enormous power and knowledge.  She also played a key role in the "Mys-Tech Wars," absorbing the UnEarth to prevent the planet's destruction and, along with Dr. Strange, Professor X, Albion, Death's Head II and Motormouth, were able to foil Mys-Tech's plans for Earth.

Shevaun is bonded to her costume, which is part of the fabric of the universe.  This is turn enables her to employ various types of energy blasts, as well as the ability to detect energies.  In addition, she can open a portal to the "void", which enables her to absorb energies and have attacks pass through her body.  Shevaun can fly via graviton manipulation, and possesses extrasensory abilities which are enhanced via her goggles.  Professor X has even stated that she may be one of the most powerful beings in existence.

So...anyone here think Miss Haldane could take on Archanfel?

This next contestant could prove to be a real doozy...Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch!

Wanda_Maximoff_(Earth-616)_from_Marvel_Masterpieces_Trading_Cards_1992_Lost_Marvel_Cards_0001.jpg.f366d4c18466970c39dc7ddfa963a424.jpg

Wanda's main power is her superhuman ability to manipulate and warp reality at will, granted to her by the High Evolutionary's experiments and amplified by the demon Chthon.  She accomplishes this by manipulating a force known as Chaos Magic.  Her "hexes" were, by extension, simple, indirect manifestations of this magic, destabilizing probabilities by affecting energy fields and matter, ultimately inducing chaos. While acting as a conduit for the planet's Life Force, Wanda's powers are further amplified and not always under her conscious control; their effects persisted even after Dr. Strange's Eye of Agamotto shut down her mind. Even the combined efforts of the Sorcerer Supreme and Earth's most formidable psychic mind were unable to fully inhibit such effects for long.  In addition, Wanda is actually considered the very Nexus Being of the central universe of Earth-616, serving as the entity that personifies the realm's character and serves as the focal point or anchor of that reality (Uatu described a nexus-being as one of the "rare individual entities with the power to affect probabilities-and thus the future"), making her along the scales of class and power as the other known nexus-beings.

I think Ms. Maximoff would really be able to give Archanfel a run for his money.  What say you?

Before I introduce our next contestant, let me ask you a question...do you believe in Magik?

Illyana_Rasputina_(Earth-616)_from_New_Mutants_Dead_Souls_Vol_1_1_Trading_Card_Variant_cover_001.thumb.jpg.8a23e5d503b4fbc04dcef080c70a09cd.jpg

The sister of Piotr Rasputin, aka Colossus, Illyana Nikolievna Rasputina possesses a number of formidable abilities.  Among them are her ability to mentally control "stepping discs", which allowed herself and others to teleport across interstellar distances or through time. The discs are part of a dimension known as Limbo. This dimension is specifically known alternately as "Demonic Limbo", "Limbo-Belasco", or "Otherplace". However, when Illyana mentally calls for a Stepping Disc she must use Limbo as a midway point before she can teleport to an alternate location.  In addition, Magik is the sorceress supreme of her Limbo dimension. The extent of her powers there are all powerful and powerful demons of Limbo did not dare challenge her. Magik had access to Belasco's store of mystical knowledge. Magik's sorcery was a unique mix of black magic, that she learned from Belasco, and white magic, that she was taught by an alternative-reality Ororo Munroe.  She has also received mystic tutelage under Doctor Strange, having learned how to use the Eye of Agamotto, as well as spells from the Book of Vishanti.  Illyana also possesses impenetrable psionic shields, most likely a result of the time she spent in Limbo and the effects of her partially demonic soul. As such even powerful telepaths such as Charles Xavier, David Haller, Emma Frost and Rachel Summers could not mentally read Illyana's thoughts or sense her psionically.

Going on this alone, I would think even Archanfel should be cautious if he were to challenge Magik.  What do you think?

Just read 'Zenith', by Grant Morrison, and I think Peter St.John may be a good candidate.

He was a created superhuman; in his world, the so-called 'Lloigor', 4-dimensional entities from outside the normal universe, have sought entry, but they can only exist in host bodies in the threedimensional world; and no ordinary human body can endure their presence. So they sent instructions for the creation of superhumans; the first of these, 'Master Man', was created by the Nazis and possesses by a Lloigor. The allied forces created their own superhumans; but Master Man was not defeated by one of them but by a nuclear bomb.

After the war, the UK used cell samples obtained from Master Man to retro-engineer the serum that gave him his powers, and injected it into human fetuses in the womb. The ones that survived developed superhuman abilities when they hit puberty; and one of those was Peter St.John, also known as Mandala. His power was specifically psychic, and while he possessed immense psionic abilities, his greatest talent lay in mind-control, illusion and hypnosis - powers not favored by the Zoalord Council, let alone Archanfel himself. I would be very surprised if he were unable to co-opt the telepathic control the Zoalords exert over other Zoaforms, as he was able to even hypnotize the Lloigor themselves.

He is somewhat of a benevolent despot, who uses his power to effectively rule the UK and possibly more.

Took a look at Zenith over on ReadComicOnline, definitely looked pretty trippy (in a good way, though).  And yeah, Peter St. John definitely seems like he could take on Archanfel.  Anyone who could take on Lovecraftian entities definitely has something good going for him.

Anyways, I've been thinking quite a bit about this next contender, and I figure...yeah, she might be able to stand against Archanfel.  I give you, the Mistress of the Elements herself, Ororo Munroe aka STORM!

Fearless_Vol_1_2_Textless.thumb.jpg.8fc5ee1ed135fed54fd621dd69f0fa56.jpg

A longtime member of the X-Men, Ororo possesses the mutant ability to control the weather and the atmosphere, and is widely considered to be one of the most powerful mutants on the planet.  One of the primary sources of her powers is the Earth's electromagnetic field.  Storm possesses the psionic ability to control all forms of Weather Manipulation. She has been able to control both Earthly and extraterrestrial ecosystems on several occasions. She can modify the temperature of the environment, control all forms of precipitation, humidity and moisture (at a molecular level), generate lightning and other electromagnetic atmospheric phenomena, and has demonstrated excellent control over atmospheric pressure. She can incite all forms of meteorological tempests, such as tornadoes, thunderstorms, blizzards, and hurricanes, as well as mist. She can dissipate such weather to form clear skies as well.

Her precise control over the atmosphere allows her to create special weather effects. She can create precipitation at higher or lower altitudes than normal, make whirlwinds travel pointing lengthwise in any direction, channel ambient electromagnetism through her body to generate electric blasts, flash freeze objects and people, coalesce atmospheric pollutants into acid rain or toxic fog, and, along with her natural ability of flight, summon wind currents strong enough to support her weight to elevate herself (or others) to fly at high altitudes and speeds. Her control is so great that she can even manipulate the air in a person's lungs. She can also control the pressure inside the human inner ear, an ability she uses to cause intense pain. She can also bend light using moisture in the air and her manipulation of mist and fog to appear partially transparent, and in some cases, nearly invisible.

Storm has also demonstrated the ability to control natural forces that include storms, solar wind, ocean currents, and electromagnetic energy. She has demonstrated the ability to separate water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen via electrolysis, allowing her to breathe underwater. While in outer space, she is able to affect and manipulate the interstellar and intergalactic mediums. Storm can alter her visual perceptions so as to see the universe in terms of energy patterns, detecting the flow of kinetic, thermal and electromagnetic energy behind weather phenomena and can bend this energy to her will.

Going on this, I think Archanfel would do well to check the forecast before he tries to take on Storm.  What do you think?

Been batting around this next challenger for awhile, but then I thought, "Yeah, definite contender against Archanfel."  I give you...Jean Grey!

X-Men_Red_Vol_1_1_Textless.thumb.jpg.a1cb705c42fd2d9c5a4eb9850acb4d08.jpg

One of the X-Men's original five, Jean has been stated to be an Omega-Level mutant.  That is, she is a mutant with most powerful genetic potential of their mutant abilities.  By birth, Jean is  among the most powerful telepaths, telekinetics and psions. She is also one with the Phoenix Force, and while acting as its avatar she is one of the most powerful Abstract Entities in the Earth-616 universe. She also was considered to be a "Mutant Alpha-Psi", an Alpha Level Telepath, an Alpha-Level Mutant and Psionic of Highest Order. As Dark Phoenix, she has been stated to be a global threat and to manifest cosmic-level powers. According to Prosh, her Comparative Mutagenic Power Register was of 8.9.

While accessing the Phoenix Force, Jean's empathy, telepathy, and telekinesis are greatly magnified and heightened to an incredible degree. The Phoenix Force also allows her to travel unaided through the vacuum of space, cross interstellar distances faster than the speed of light, and to manifest flames while using her powers, often in the shape of a fiery raptor. Although the full scale of Jean's powers currently are unclear, she stated that the Phoenix Force had been holding her back while she was its host.

On many occasions, Jean has shown to have incredibly strong empathic powers that enable her to control, manipulate and alter the feelings, sensations, and emotions of others. It is because of her empathic abilities that the almighty Phoenix Force had chosen her as its rightful human host. In other versions, she had not been shown possessing any types of empathic abilities except for telekinesis and telepathy.

Jean is able to read thoughts, project and broadcast her own thoughts, as well as affect the minds of humans and animals with higher order intelligence (such as dolphins, ravens or dogs). The range at which she can perform these feats is greatly increased while she is accessing the Phoenix Force. After her absorption of Psylocke's specialized telepathy, Jean's own telepathic skill and power was increased to a level at which she could create psionic firebirds capable of inflicting mental and physical damage. However this enhanced telepathy came at the temporary cost of her telekinesis.

Projection of psychokinetic energy enables her to levitate objects, propel or manipulate them however she wishes, lift herself and move through the air to simulate flight, stimulate individual molecules to create heat, generate concussive force as blasts or bursts, and create protective shields. While she has access to the Phoenix Force, she is able to manipulate matter and energy on a sub-atomic scale using her telekinesis. She can even change her Phoenix clothes into a set of street clothes, and lift multiple heavy objects at once without having any difficulties.

This is just a summation of her abilities, but the bottom line is, Archanfel would do well NOT to incur the Phoenix's wrath.

I've been batting this next challenger around for a bit, but I figured, "Yeah, maybe she might have a chance."  I present to you...Faiza Hussain!

Faiza_Hussain_(Earth-616)_from_Official_Handbook_of_the_Marvel_Universe_A-Z_Update_Vol_1_1_0001.thumb.jpg.32cce40fa4d63b6428c8393d6eb77c3f.jpg

A member of MI:13 and the Champions of Europe, Faiza has the power to disassemble anything, including people, into their component parts, manipulate them on an atomic level, and reassemble them. While taking people apart, she can take their limbs, organs, and bones apart, then reassemble them, putting them back together, and then restore it to its original condition. This is possible due to the fact that she innately knows the composition of anything she affects with her powers. Faiza is also capable of focusing on certain areas in particular.  She can affect multiple targets simultaneously, but the more objects she attempts to manipulate, the greater the concentration is required from her. When using her powers on living beings, the target is rendered immobile until she allows them to move. Faiza finds it easier to affect shape-shifters, such as Skrulls, but more difficult to affect magic-based beings.   Faiza can also immobilize multiple people at once, without disassembling them. The effect lasts until Faiza wills otherwise.

In addition, Faiza is the current wielder of the blade Excalibur, which is irtually indestructible, and sheathed in a magical scabbard that prevents its holder from losing any blood, regardless of his or her wounds.  In addition, the sword is capable of killing anyone, including gods, immortals, and spirits.

Methinks Archanfel better have very good medical coverage if he encountered Faiza.

Our next contestant is someone who will, quite literally, blow your mind...I give you Heather Douglas, aka Moondragon!

Heather_Douglas_(Earth-616)_from_Guardians_of_the_Galaxy_Vol_4_5_001.thumb.jpg.11962b436f3c8cb5153c77c0931fc3de.jpg

The daughter of Drax the Destroyer and a member of groups including the Avengers, Defenders, and the 21st Century Guardians of the Galaxy, Moondragon is one of the most powerful human-born telepaths.  She has repeatedly demonstrated mental psionic energy usage far in advance of all human and human mutants including that of the world-renowned telepaths such as Professor Charles Xavier, Emma Frost, and Jean Grey (without the enhancement of the Phoenix Force).

Douglas' most notable psychic actions were the complete mental enslavement of an entire warring planet of people, psionically stalemating the sorcerer supreme Doctor Strange for an extended period of time, and mentally killing a clone of Thanos endowed with psionic powers greater than Professor X, as well as being able to pierce the mental barriers of Galactus and even enabling Thanos to almost overwhelm the devourer's mind when channeling her powers - All feats beyond that of Xavier and most other noted human and human mutant psychics.

Unlike human mutants such as Xavier whose powers operate as part of their biology, all of Douglas' mental powers originate from her supreme level of mental discipline, hence her concentration and ability to focus on the accomplishment of that task. All of Douglas' mental processes are largely maintained subconsciously as the power and its effects will continue if she is rendered unconscious or falls asleep as done when her control of an entire planet's populace. But she must always consciously initiate the process for it to be done.

I'd say Archanfel would do well not to try playing any head games with Miss Douglas.  How about you?
