Guyver chapters are released on a monthly basis.
Then Takaya san merges all the chapters to make the tankoubon (volumes).

The number of chapters in a tankoubon do not always correlate with the number of chapters that were released that time around.
This is because some of the chapters are merged into one.

so when you look at the numbering assigned to chinese releases, forget it. because they fail to take this into account.

we always label the releases quiet clearly so when you download the chapters, if you are getting them from this site, they should be labelled correctly anyway.
(in all honesty I can't imagine where the confusion is coming from as we always label them quite clearly.)

I really don't know how to make this clearer.
if somebody needs a diagram, just tell me 'cause i'm geting tired of explaining this.

How about this for a suggestion, instead of putting chapter numbers for the releases, why not just simply put the date as a demarkation. For example, the chapter being released in August would be chapter 2008-09, meaning it's the chapter released in the september issue.

it's certainly an idea...
well the problem is.. they don't release the september issue in september.
so we would have to have the release date AND the issue date.

and then People would have to correlate between chapter numbers and release numbers...
because we need a way to label hte files.
we have to label the files according to chapter... unless we stop trying to fit the monthly releases with the tankoubon?
and instead only keep them labelled as per issue, and page number.
so files would be labelled - 09-08-page01.jpg for september 2008
Kadokawa don't label them as chapters do they?
how do kadokawa label them? is it just by month?

I can completely change all of these..
I am liking the idea of this, it would save a lot of headaches.
and the title of threds could be clearly labelled which issue it is for (september issue)
and the subtitle of the thread can be the date that teh chapter becomes available for us to read.

heads up for everyone, chapter numbering is changed due to hte release of guyver volume 26 tankoubon.

chapters have changed as following -
163 -> 163a
164 -> 163b
165 -> 164a
166 -> 164b
167 -> 165
168 -> 166
169 -> 167

I will edit the main instances of these files that i can find.
there may be old references to these chapters that i will miss and so will be incorrect.
remember to always refer to the main chapters thread. that will give you the most accurate information.
